9. Championship Opening Ceremony and teams parade 16 March 2013, 12:00
Demonstrations: different Wushu style demonstration individually and in groups,
barehanded or with weapons, hard qigun technique, theatrical performances.
9.1. Program
9.2.1. Basic program:
Barehand forms:
Short weapons:
Long weapons:
Changquan, Nanquan, Taijiquan
Jianshu, Daoshu, Nandao
Qiangshu, Gunshu, Nangun
Boys and girls until 9 years old (included) perform 1/2 of basic forms (32 forms)
or changquan, shaolinsi or ! of self-composed forms from basic program. Time of
performance is not taken into consideration.
Boys and girls until 12 years old (included), juniors (boys and girls), adults 17
– 30 (included) and 31+ perform full basic forms (32 forms) or full self-composed
forms from basic program.. Time of performance is not taken into consideration.
9.2.1. Competition program:

Changquan, Nanquan, Taijiquan
Jianshu, Daoshu, Nandao, Taiji weapons
Qiangshu, Gunshu, Nangun
Juniors (boys and girls), adults and group 31+ : international competition
routines or self-composed routine conforming of the Rules for International Wushu
Taolu Competition, edition 1999, 2007 – time of performance not less than 1 min
20 sec.; for Taijiquan from 5 min to 6 min; for taiji weapons – from 3 min to 4 min.
Boys and girls until 12 years time performance for international competition
routine will not be taken into consideration.
9.3. Traditional program:
Traditional barehanded forms:
I group: traditional taijiquan styles, xingyi, baguazhan, bajiquan.
II group: tunbei, pigua, fanziquan, choziaoquan.
III group: ditanquan, all imitational styles: usuntokaoquan,
houquan, yingzhaozhua, tanlanquan, zuiquan, baihequan.
IV group: shaolinquan, chaquan, huaquan, hunquan, paoquan,
traditional nanquan and all other styles those are
not included in precedent groups.
Time of

For the traditional
taijiquan:
from 5 to 6 min.

Traditional weapons:
I group: single short weapon
II group: single long weapon
III group: double weapons
IV group: flexible weapons
Time of performance: not less
than 1 min.
V group: taiji weapons Time of performance: from 3
to 4 min.
9.4. Fighting sets: time of performance not less than 50 sec.
9.5. Group events:
I group: bare hand vs bare hand
II group: weapon vs weapon
III geoup: other
6 persons of any age category. Time of performance not less than 3 - 4 min.
CD or file with music is necessary to provide to organizing committee at time of arrival
or at technical meeting.
10. Only individual competition takes place under the Rules for International Wushu Taolu
Competition, edition of International Wushu Federation, 2005.
11. Judging:
Competition Chief Judge: Roman Vlasenko (EWuF Nr. EJ0019).
12. Chief referee and chief secretary appoint the jury.
13. The Panel of Appeal: The appeal can be submitted not later than 30 min after the end
of the appropriate event. The appeal fee 100 ", will be spent for the tournament needs.
14. The draw-lots are computer-based. Will be performed after submitting the final entry
forms. All teams will receive the detailed list of events on the day of arrival.
15. Winners in individual competition:
The winners are being determined in every age group by the highest score. If there will
be more than 10 persons participating in the event, 6 persons will be awarded.
1 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize
2 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize
3 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize
from 4 to 6 place: diploma.
If there will be only 1 or 2 persons registered for any event, this event will be joined to
another event without the special agreement with the team’s officials.
16. Winners in individual all-round:
16.1 Boys and girls until 12 years: determed by the total score of 3 events -
barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons.
16.2 Juniors of age 13 – 16: determed by the total score of 5 events:
Basic program: barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons;
Traditional program: traditional barehanded, traditional weapons.
16.3. Men and women 17 – 30 years (included), 31 and older, performing basic
program, the winner in individual all-round is not determined.

16.4 Men and women 17 – 30 years (included), 31 years and older: determed by the
total score of 5 events:
Basic program: barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons;
Traditional program: traditional barehanded, traditional weapons.
17. Participating conditions:
• Number of athletes in team is not limited.
• Each team should provide qualified judge.
• The following information should be included into the entry form: name,
surname, birth date, program, the stamp of medical permission, the sign of team
leader, contacts: phone numbers and e-mail.
18. Conditions for participants
• Participants pay for themselves all charges for journey to/from competitions,
accommodation and catering, bring their own equipment.
• For certified judge of the team or team’s representative, accommodation and
meals are provided by the host.
• Teams, representative and judging arrival date: 13 – 15 March 2013.
• Teams registration and Organizing meeting – 15 March 2013, 18:00. Teams
representative presence at the meeting is mandatory. During the competition no
claims are accepted.
• Judging seminar according to EWuF rules (edition 2005) – 15 March 2013,
20:00.
• Accommodation fee: 35 – 40 EUR per person, per night on double room
occupancy basis (4-star hotel category), breakfast included.
• For arranging the local transfer to the hotel, the team must provide information
about it’s arrival not later than 1 March 2013.
18. The registration fee:
The registration fee for first event for one athlet – 15 EUR, all successive events – 10
EUR each event.
The registration fee must be paid at the technical committee or by bank transfer to
Latvian Wushu Association bank account:
