9. <strong>Championship</strong> <strong>Open</strong>ing Ceremony and teams parade 16 March 2013, 12:00<br />

Demonstrations: different <strong>Wushu</strong> style demonstration individually and in groups,<br />

barehanded or with weapons, hard qigun technique, theatrical performances.<br />

9.1. Program<br />

9.2.1. Basic program:<br />

Barehand forms:<br />

Short weapons:<br />

Long weapons:<br />

Changquan, Nanquan, Taijiquan<br />

Jianshu, Daoshu, Nandao<br />

Qiangshu, Gunshu, Nangun<br />

Boys and girls until 9 years old (included) perform 1/2 <strong>of</strong> basic forms (32 forms)<br />

or changquan, shaolinsi or ! <strong>of</strong> self-composed forms from basic program. Time <strong>of</strong><br />

performance is not taken into consideration.<br />

Boys and girls until 12 years old (included), juniors (boys and girls), adults 17<br />

– 30 (included) and 31+ perform full basic forms (32 forms) or full self-composed<br />

forms from basic program.. Time <strong>of</strong> performance is not taken into consideration.<br />

9.2.1. Competition program:<br />

routines or self-composed routine conforming <strong>of</strong> the Rules for International <strong>Wushu</strong><br />

Taolu Competition, edition 1999, 2007 – time <strong>of</strong> performance not less than 1 min<br />

20 sec.; for Taijiquan from 5 min to 6 min; for taiji weapons – from 3 min to 4 min.<br />

Boys and girls until 12 years time performance for international competition<br />

routine will not be taken into consideration.<br />

9.3. Traditional program:<br />

Traditional barehanded forms:<br />

I group: traditional taijiquan styles, xingyi, baguazhan, bajiquan.<br />

II group: tunbei, pigua, fanziquan, choziaoquan.<br />

III group: ditanquan, all imitational styles: usuntokaoquan,<br />

houquan, yingzhaozhua, tanlanquan, zuiquan, baihequan.<br />

IV group: shaolinquan, chaquan, huaquan, hunquan, paoquan,<br />

traditional nanquan and all other styles those are<br />

not included in precedent groups.<br />

Time <strong>of</strong><br />

performance: not<br />

less than 1 min<br />

For the traditional<br />

taijiquan:<br />

from 5 to 6 min.


Traditional weapons:<br />

I group: single short weapon<br />

II group: single long weapon<br />

III group: double weapons<br />

IV group: flexible weapons<br />

Time <strong>of</strong> performance: not less<br />

than 1 min.<br />

V group: taiji weapons Time <strong>of</strong> performance: from 3<br />

to 4 min.<br />

9.4. Fighting sets: time <strong>of</strong> performance not less than 50 sec.<br />

9.5. Group events:<br />

I group: bare hand vs bare hand<br />

II group: weapon vs weapon<br />

III geoup: other<br />

6 persons <strong>of</strong> any age category. Time <strong>of</strong> performance not less than 3 - 4 min.<br />

CD or file with music is necessary to provide to organizing committee at time <strong>of</strong> arrival<br />

or at technical meeting.<br />

10. Only individual competition takes place under the Rules for International <strong>Wushu</strong> Taolu<br />

Competition, edition <strong>of</strong> International <strong>Wushu</strong> Federation, 2005.<br />

11. Judging:<br />

Competition Chief Judge: Roman Vlasenko (EWuF Nr. EJ0019).<br />

12. Chief referee and chief secretary appoint the jury.<br />

13. The Panel <strong>of</strong> Appeal: The appeal can be submitted not later than 30 min after the end<br />

<strong>of</strong> the appropriate event. The appeal fee 100 ", will be spent for the tournament needs.<br />

14. The draw-lots are computer-based. Will be performed after submitting the final entry<br />

forms. All teams will receive the detailed list <strong>of</strong> events on the day <strong>of</strong> arrival.<br />

15. Winners in individual competition:<br />

The winners are being determined in every age group by the highest score. If there will<br />

be more than 10 persons participating in the event, 6 persons will be awarded.<br />

1 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize<br />

2 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize<br />

3 place: medal, diploma, memorial prize<br />

from 4 to 6 place: diploma.<br />

If there will be only 1 or 2 persons registered for any event, this event will be joined to<br />

another event without the special agreement with the team’s <strong>of</strong>ficials.<br />

16. Winners in individual all-round:<br />

16.1 Boys and girls until 12 years: determed by the total score <strong>of</strong> 3 events -<br />

barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons.<br />

16.2 Juniors <strong>of</strong> age 13 – 16: determed by the total score <strong>of</strong> 5 events:<br />

Basic program: barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons;<br />

Traditional program: traditional barehanded, traditional weapons.<br />

16.3. Men and women 17 – 30 years (included), 31 and older, performing basic<br />

program, the winner in individual all-round is not determined.


16.4 Men and women 17 – 30 years (included), 31 years and older: determed by the<br />

total score <strong>of</strong> 5 events:<br />

Basic program: barehanded form, short weapons, long weapons;<br />

Traditional program: traditional barehanded, traditional weapons.<br />

17. Participating conditions:<br />

• Number <strong>of</strong> athletes in team is not limited.<br />

• Each team should provide qualified judge.<br />

• The following information should be included into the entry form: name,<br />

surname, birth date, program, the stamp <strong>of</strong> medical permission, the sign <strong>of</strong> team<br />

leader, contacts: phone numbers and e-mail.<br />

18. Conditions for participants<br />

• Participants pay for themselves all charges for journey to/from competitions,<br />

accommodation and catering, bring their own equipment.<br />

• For certified judge <strong>of</strong> the team or team’s representative, accommodation and<br />

meals are provided by the host.<br />

• Teams, representative and judging arrival date: 13 – 15 March 2013.<br />

• Teams registration and Organizing meeting – 15 March 2013, 18:00. Teams<br />

representative presence at the meeting is mandatory. During the competition no<br />

claims are accepted.<br />

• Judging seminar according to EWuF rules (edition 2005) – 15 March 2013,<br />

20:00.<br />

• Accommodation fee: 35 – 40 EUR per person, per night on double room<br />

occupancy basis (4-star hotel category), breakfast included.<br />

• For arranging the local transfer to the hotel, the team must provide information<br />

about it’s arrival not later than 1 March 2013.<br />

18. The registration fee:<br />

The registration fee for first event for one athlet – 15 EUR, all successive events – 10<br />

EUR each event.<br />

The registration fee must be paid at the technical committee or by bank transfer to<br />

<strong>Latvian</strong> <strong>Wushu</strong> <strong>Association</strong> bank account:<br />
