תיאור הקורס
הסמינריון עוסק בנושא אשר צובר עניין בשנים האחרונות בשיח התיאורטי אודות האמנות,‏ קרי
יחסי הגומלין בין האסתטיקה לבין האתיקה.‏ ההצטלבות של שתי הדיסציפלינות כוללת שלושה
תחומי מחקר.‏ הראשון הינו הבעיות המשותפות לאסתטיקה ולאתיקה סביב שאלות ערכיות.‏ השני
עוסק בהיבטים האתיים של האסתטיקה ושל העשייה האמנותיות.‏ השלישי הוא הדיון אודות
הנושאים האסתטיים המועלים על ידי תורת המוסר.‏

התיאוריה המורליסטית של האמנות מאפלטון ועד טולסטוי.‏
קאנט על השיפוט האסתטי ועל היפה כסימבול של הטוב.‏
הגישה האסתטית אל האמנויות:‏ אמנות לשם אמנות.‏
השיפוט האתי של האמנות כחלק אינטגראלי של השיפוט האסתטי.‏

תיאור הקורס באנגלית
The aim of this course is to explore an area of growing concern, namely the
intersection of aesthetics and ethics, while situating aesthetic judgment in the dual
context of moral judgment and scientific judgment.

The overlap of aesthetics and ethics can be understood to comprise three spheres of
inquiry. The first is that of problems or presuppositions common to aesthetics and
ethics, the two traditional branches of value theory. The second is that of ethical
issues in aesthetics, or in the practices of art. And the third sphere is that of aesthetic
issues in ethics, both theoretical and applied.
