<strong>Spectacular</strong>! <strong>The</strong> sale committee and many<br />
others have worked very hard in this endeavor<br />
to assemble a collection of high quality cattle<br />
from premier <strong>Shorthorn</strong> breeders in the heart of<br />
the <strong>Shorthorn</strong> scene. We can not think of a better<br />
location than where Illinois, Missouri, and<br />
Iowa come together. Please feel free to contact<br />

<strong>The</strong> annual banquet of the Illinois<br />
<strong>Shorthorn</strong> Association will be held at the Lowderman<br />
Auction Facility on Saturday, March<br />

First off we would like to thank all of the<br />
members of the Illinois <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Board as well as<br />
our great consignors for making this sale possible.<br />
<strong>The</strong>se individuals’ commitment to the <strong>Shorthorn</strong><br />
breed in the <strong>Midwest</strong> is a true testament to their<br />
belief in the future of the <strong>Shorthorn</strong> Industry, and that<br />
future starts here!<br />
<strong>The</strong> First Annual <strong>Midwest</strong> <strong>Shorthorn</strong><br />
<strong>Spectacular</strong> will start off with a bang in the Heart of<br />
the <strong>Midwest</strong>, Macomb, IL. <strong>The</strong> Lowderman Auction<br />
Facility is located within minutes of Missouri as well<br />
as Iowa, providing a quick route to view all of these<br />
Top Notch <strong>Cattle</strong> that have been gathered across the<br />
<strong>Midwest</strong>, into one location. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Shorthorn</strong> <strong>Spectacular</strong><br />
will feature over 15 consignors, from all over the<br />
Heartland, offering their top consignments.<br />
When putting together the consignments<br />
for this sale the sale committee as well as the members<br />
of the sale management decided to focus our<br />
efforts on assembling a diverse quality driven set of<br />
cattle. When this diverse set of cattle is assembled in<br />
Macomb, we feel that you will quickly notice that the<br />
cattle consigned in this sale not only contain some of<br />
the most highly valued pedigrees in the breed. But<br />
these consignments also represent the type of cattle<br />
that are sure to find success in the show ring as well<br />
as in the pasture, or donor program. With these goals<br />
in mind we would like to welcome you to this year’s<br />
