2 Registration by appointment for first-year
students.
5 Labor Day. University holiday.
6 First day of classes.
6–9, 12–16 Change of program by appointment.
16 Last day to (1) register for academic credit,
(2) change course programs, (3) submit
written notice of withdrawal from the
autumn term to the Dean of Student
Affairs for full refund of tuition and special
fees. No adjustment of fees for individual
courses dropped after this date.
30 Last day to confirm, update, or request a
waiver from the Student Medical
Insurance Plan.
October
19 October degrees conferred.
20 Midterm date.
November
1 Last day to apply for February degrees.
7 Academic holiday.
8 Election Day. University holiday.
14–18 Registration by appointment for spring
2012.
17 Last day to drop Engineering courses
without academic penalty. Last day to
change a grading option.
24–25 Thanksgiving holiday.
December
1 Last day to apply for May degrees.
12 Last day of classes.
13–15 Study days.
16–23 Final examinations.
24–Jan. 16 Winter holiday.
SPRING TERM 2012
January
10–13 Registration by appointment for all classes.
