St. Mary’s Booster Club Golf Tournament
Dear Friend of St. Mary’s,
Thank you for golfing and/or taking the leadership to form a team to golf in the
St. Mary’s Golf Tournament. We are going to have a great time! The tournament is
June 7 th at Prairie West Golf Course.
PLEASE INFORM YOUR TEAM MEMBERS OF THE FOLLOWING AS THEY WILL
NOT BE RECEIVING THIS TOURNAMENT INFORMATION.
• Golf Carts: Your fee includes a golf cart.
• Entry Fee: $100.00. Your fee includes lunch, golf, dinner, prizes and golf cart.
• Mulligan: $5.00 PER mulligan, max of 2 per player. The mulligan can be used for
any shot on any hole.
• Required Shots: Two (2) tee shots must be used from each player on each team.
Please keep track.
• Club Length: You get one club length distance from chaser ball to play each shot (no
closer to the hole). If you are in the rough or sand trap, you must play
from there.
• Putts: Putts are “gimme’s” if inside the leather!
• Check-in: Please go through the registration line for final information,
11:30 - 12:30 P.M.
• Play Golf: Teams will consist of four players each with prizes awarded to the top
Three teams in Net and Gross divisions.
Gross Division: Team finish determined by each team’s golf score.
Net Division: Team finish determined by each team’s golf score adjusted by each
team member’s handicap. (California Handicapping System)
Women’s Division: Team finish determined by each team’s golf score, prize
going to the top team.
Note: Teams placing in both divisions will be awarded prizes in only one division.
Ties will be broken by match-play formula, starting at the hole with the toughest
handicap.

In case of inclement weather, the tournament will be played on Monday, June 18, 2012, at the same time and location. If
weather prohibits the June 18 date, the SM Booster Club will provide two rounds of golf for each paid person at Prairie West Golf
Course. The drawings would be held after June 27, 2012, and the winners will be notified.
