<strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Central</strong> <strong>High</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong> recently celebrated<br />
the graduation <strong>of</strong> 83<br />
students. This means that<br />
there are 83 new <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s<br />
Alumni who are ready to<br />
embrace there futures and<br />
make their mark on the world. As I think <strong>of</strong> all that<br />
lies ahead for these young men and women I recall<br />
my own time at <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Central</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> and<br />
the fond memories I hold <strong>of</strong> my classmates, teachers<br />
and the school.<br />
As we are well into our summer activities,<br />
many <strong>of</strong> you may be anticipating your own reunion<br />
with your classmates. I would encourage all <strong>of</strong> you<br />
to attend your reunions, share in the memories and<br />
visit your school. If you’re not able to make it to<br />
your reunion, there are many opportunities to stay<br />
connected to <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s throughout the year, including<br />
Homecoming activities in September. Homecoming<br />
is also the weekend <strong>of</strong> the <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Hall</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Fame</strong><br />
Induction Ceremony. This is a time to recognize<br />
alumni, faculty and staff, and friends and benefactors<br />
who, during and/or after their time at SMCHS, have<br />
achieved a level <strong>of</strong> excellence deserving <strong>of</strong> recognition<br />
in Athletics, Fine Arts, in their personal endeavors,<br />
and in their support <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Central</strong> <strong>High</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong>. I have attended the <strong>Hall</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Fame</strong> Ceremony<br />
for a number <strong>of</strong> years, and can attest to what a<br />
fantastic occasion this is. Homecoming weekend is<br />
September 9th, 10th and 11th If you are unable to<br />
attend Homecoming, you are always welcome at any<br />
SM event.<br />
Please remember that our alumni have<br />
played a vital role in the success <strong>of</strong> our school since<br />
its beginnings. If you’ve been away for a while, you<br />
are always welcome back, and for the Class <strong>of</strong> <strong>2011</strong>,<br />
welcome, you’re in good company.<br />
