Our kids’ classes blend fun and learning for
experiences that children will remember for
a lifetime. Children and teens build skills and
learn new ideas to assist their understanding
of our world.
CLASSES
Guitar Intensive Workshop (Ages 8 to 13)
Learn to play the guitar! Discover basic music and guitar theory, and learn a variety
of songs. Bring your own guitar. Andrew Lovato has been teaching guitar to Santa
Fe youth for many years. Early registration is encouraged.

Elbows Off the Table! (Ages 9 to 12)
This introduction to etiquette will teach children some tips that may be new even
to their parents! Kids will learn the lost art of thank you notes and letter writing,
telephone manners, posture, and how to speak in public with fewer “ums,” “likes”
and “you knows” Dining skills, rules of introduction and more are covered in this
fun and energetic class. Bizia Greene is the Santa Fe etiquette expert and owner of
the Etiquette School of Santa Fe.

Western Horseback Riding for Kids (Ages 8 and Up) NEW!
Off Campus
Kids are sure to enjoy this short introduction to horse health, maintenance, safety
and, of course, a ride. Romero’s Thunder, in Bernalillo, will introduce kids to the
many aspects of caring for a horse, and follow up with an enjoyable Western
horseback ride. This could be the start of a lifetime avocation.

Cooking Fundamentals Camp (Ages 11 to 14)
Learning to cook is an important skill for kids who want to be independent.
The chefs from the SFCC Culinary Arts Institute will focus on fun and safety
in the kitchen. Kids will learn a variety of recipes each day, while learning the
fundamentals of food preparation. The best part is that students get to eat what
they have made! Whether you want to be a chef someday or just able to impress
family and friends, this is our most delicious summer camp offering.
