Rick Reichman will divulge the seven major elements
of every movie scene, turning points of the three-act
structure, creating dynamic “film-speak,” and how to
create great script openings. Reichman also focuses on
developing memorable characters, crafting format for
maximum effect and negotiating the marketing maze.
One of Reichman’s former students is now co-executive
producer on “The Mentalist.” Two of Reichman’s scripts
are optioned and he has had several documentaries and
training scripts produced.

Writing Short Stories
Writing short stories is a fun, creative way to express
yourself. With writer Natasha Nargis Lara, students
will read and write short stories while exploring plot,
dialogue, point of view and description. Writers will be
free to share their stories with the class. This class tends
to fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged.

opportunities available to you. Take one of these dance
classes and increase the enjoyment in your life.
Country-Western Dance Off Campus
Bring a partner, or come alone, and learn traditional
country-western dances – the two-step, waltz and
country swing – including basic turns and styling. The
atmosphere is low-key, with an emphasis on building
confidence in an activity you can enjoy for years to come.

Ballroom Dancing Off Campus
Bring your partner or meet a new one at this fun and
easy ballroom dance class. Enjoy dances such as fox trot,
waltz, rumba and salsa, and be ready for parties and
nights on the town. Ladies learn to follow any partner.
Gents learn the necessary leading skills. This class is for
beginners who want to be introduced to the different
Latin and American social rhythms. During the class you
will have the opportunity to dance with other students.

Salsa and Merengue Off Campus
This is an exciting upbeat introductory class. Students
will explore club-style salsa techniques and Latin
rhythms. The merengue is probably the easiest dance
you will ever learn. Basic merengue is danced as a
walking step with a step taken on every beat of music
then add various hip movements. This class will be
taught at the Dance Station by one of their professional
instructors. A membership fee to the studio for the
length of the course is included in the course fee.
During the class you will have the opportunity to dance
with other students.
