Screenplay Confidential<br />
Rick Reichman will divulge the seven major elements<br />
of every movie scene, turning points of the three-act<br />
structure, creating dynamic “film-speak,” and how to<br />
create great script openings. Reichman also focuses on<br />
developing memorable characters, crafting format for<br />
maximum effect and negotiating the marketing maze.<br />
One of Reichman’s former students is now co-executive<br />
producer on “The Mentalist.” Two of Reichman’s scripts<br />
are optioned and he has had several documentaries and<br />
training scripts produced.<br />

Writing short stories is a fun, creative way to express<br />
yourself. With writer Natasha Nargis Lara, students<br />
will read and write short stories while exploring plot,<br />
dialogue, point of view and description. Writers will be<br />
free to share their stories with the class. This class tends<br />
to fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged.<br />

Country-Western Dance Off Campus<br />
Bring a partner, or come alone, and learn traditional<br />
country-western dances – the two-step, waltz and<br />
country swing – including basic turns and styling. The<br />
atmosphere is low-key, with an emphasis on building<br />
confidence in an activity you can enjoy for years to come.<br />

Gents learn the necessary leading skills. This class is for<br />
beginners who want to be introduced to the different<br />
Latin and American social rhythms. During the class you<br />

Salsa and Merengue Off Campus<br />
This is an exciting upbeat introductory class. Students<br />
will explore club-style salsa techniques and Latin<br />
rhythms. The merengue is probably the easiest dance<br />
you will ever learn. Basic merengue is danced as a<br />
walking step with a step taken on every beat of music<br />
then add various hip movements. This class will be<br />
taught at the Dance Station by one of their professional<br />
instructors. A membership fee to the studio for the<br />
length of the course is included in the course fee.<br />
During the class you will have the opportunity to dance<br />
with other students.<br />
