LOOKING
forward 1907-2007
Today, the U of S is the only Canadian
anglophone university with a combination of
colleges devoted to the study of human, animal
and plant life on one campus. Our science cluster
is unmatched across the nation, comprised of the
Canadian Light Source synchrotron, the Vaccine
and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO),
Innovation Place, and an array of health sciences
colleges.
Since 1907, the vision of our founders, and
the generations of students, faculty and staff
who followed, have shaped the U of S into one
of Canada’s finest institutions and a centre of
excellence for research. The imagination, courage,
integrity and community values upon which the
University was built will continue to guide us into
the next century.
University of Saskatchewan’s
100th anniversary by issuing a
