The story tells of a mild-mannered eccentric (later dubbed the “Florence Nightingale of Death Row”), who conducted forensic investigation into the use of poison gas in World War II Nazi concentration camps, only to find that his controversial findings, which have become required reading for Holocaust deniers, would lead to his ruin.
