Inc<strong>and</strong>escent globes produce<br />
light by heating a filament until<br />
it is white hot. Inc<strong>and</strong>escent<br />
globes become progressively<br />
dimmer over the course of their<br />
service life, because heating the<br />
filament makes it slowly burn<br />
away <strong>and</strong> vapour condenses on<br />
the glass envelope diminishing<br />
light transmission.<br />
Halogen <strong>Globes</strong><br />
Halogen globes contain a gas<br />
mixture, which consists of<br />
halogen compounds. Light is<br />
produced in much the same way<br />
as inc<strong>and</strong>escent globes, however<br />
when particles burn off the<br />
filament, they are returned by<br />
a chemical process maintaining<br />
relatively consistent light.<br />

especially designed for discerning<br />
drivers seeking to fully optimise<br />
the front <strong>and</strong> rear appearance<br />
of their vehicles. The innovative<br />
interference coated signal globes<br />
only produce amber light when<br />
activated D . When switched off<br />
they feature an opal white surface<br />
C , which does not spoil the<br />
good looks of all-silvered<br />
headlights with colourless<br />
indicator lamp lenses. The<br />
Diadem range last 100% longer<br />
than conventional amber-coated<br />
signal globes <strong>and</strong> are ideal for<br />

Xenon gas discharge globes<br />
use an electric current arc<br />
passed through Xenon gas,<br />
rather than a filament, to produce<br />
light. This method requires<br />
minimal electric current draw<br />
compared to filament lighting<br />
