ELORA –
TRADITION MADE IN GERMANY.
In 1924, the 20 years young Erich Rauch founded the ELORA company. Due to his
success he had his first premises in 1928 at Remscheid-Lüttringhausen. After World
War II ELORA started with the manufacturing of open ended and ring spanners.
The range of products was increased during the 50 th, the most significant product
line being sockets and accessories making ELORA No. 1 for this line of products.
In 1948 already, ELORA went for direct contacts to customers in Europe and
Overseas.
TRADITION
At that time, co-operation started which are working still today. In 1958 ELORA
set up a second production plant in Münk – a small village in the Eifel – which is
even today an important part in the production line process. In the beginning of the
60th year both sons Karl-Hermann and Erich Rauch joined the company. Later in
the 60th ELORA build two more production halls and started with their own forging
department. Today the company is one of the world’s leading companies with a
wide range of high quality tools.
In the 90th a building of almost 7.000 m² was bought to host the greatly expanded
company. Also the 3rd generation of family members were represented when
Bettina Rauch-Lach and Andreas Rauch joined the company. After the unexpected
and sad demise of Karl-Hermann Rauch his nephew Andreas was promoted to
Managing Director in co-operation with his father Erich Rauch.
In more than 80 years ELORA achieved a remarkable reputation for supplying the
finest high quality handtools. The base for this excellent reputation is the strong
desire to manufacture to the highest quality only. In order to put this strong will
into action ELORA benefits from modern machinery, and most of all from excellent
skilled staff members. ELORA: “Made in Germany” has been in the past and will
be in future a cachet for highest and finest quality – Worldwide!
