Hella’s visual display
systems a quad screen
system capable of up
to 4 camera inputs has
been developed.
The system is
designed for large
mining machinery
such as loaders
and excavators
where drivers require
viewpoints from multiple angles.
Offering the flexibility of displaying
one, two, three, or even four
camera views, the system caters
for the largest of mining machinery
in many applications.
The monitor is rugged enough for
mining use, with an aluminium
alloy housing providing ingress
protection to IP65. With a weight
of only 800 grams, the monitor has
a small physical footprint in the
driver’s cabin.
The monitor has the ability to
automatically adjust the display
mode according to the number of
camera inputs detected.
Other features include an
automatic day/night dimming
function, along with manual
brightness, contrast, colour
and volume control as well as
independent true and mirror image
display modes for each camera,
offering further mounting flexibility.
The seven inbuilt languages allow
the system to be used in many
different countries by a wide range
of operators.
Also now available is a custommade
heavy-duty steel camera
guard, designed to protect the
infra-red camera from damage and
vandalism.
The kit is designed to withstand
heavy vibration as well as
damage from dust, moisture and
the harsh environments often
encountered on mine sites. The
quality electronics provide reverse
polarity and high and low voltage
protection.
Kit contains monitor bracket, roll
of silicon tape, 1.5m loom cable,
sun visor, 20m extension cable
and IR camera.
