A.21.3.6 REFRESHMENTS: In addition to the normal refreshment controls, at<br />
approximately 2/3 of the way through the Ultra Long courses there shall be a<br />
manned aid station with clearly marked food, a suitable electrolyte replacement<br />
drink, pure water, first aid supplies and evacuation facilities.<br />
A.21.4 Scoring and timing<br />
A.21.4.1 The start interval <strong>for</strong> Ultra Long will be no less than 2 minutes.<br />
A.21.4.2 Mass starts are permitted at Ultra Long Course meets.<br />
A.21.4.3 The time limit <strong>for</strong> Ultra Long Course shall be 5 hours.<br />
A.21.4.4 Ultra Long Courses are Brown, Green, Red, and Blue. Yellow and Orange<br />
may be Ultra Long or Long in duration. A standard White course will be<br />
offered. The competition times <strong>for</strong> an orienteer with a ranking score of 100 are:<br />
