H.3.2 (Ski-O people – this needs a lot more - especially including the basics of the<br />

H.3.3 Authorization <strong>for</strong> IOF Competition<br />
H.3.3.1 The Ski-O Team Executive Steering Committee shall have the authority to<br />
determine teams and entries <strong>for</strong> any Elite International Ski <strong>Orienteering</strong><br />
Competitions requiring Federation authorized entries.<br />
H.4 Trail-O Team<br />
H.4.1 The U.S. Trail-O Team is a designated group of advanced competitors that exists<br />
to promote and encourage the highest competitive standards <strong>for</strong> Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong><br />
and to represent the United States at international events.<br />
H.4.2 The Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> team will hold annual elections to select a five member<br />
Trail-O Team Executive Steering Committee.<br />
H.4.3<br />
The Team Administrator, who is the administrative leader of the Team, will be<br />
appointed by the ESC.<br />
H.4.4 The U.S. Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> Standing Team will be composed of the 10 highestranked<br />
individuals from each class in the U.S. Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> Rankings who<br />
meet the following conditions:<br />
a) Have full passport qualifying citizenship <strong>for</strong> the United States.<br />
b) Member of <strong>Orienteering</strong> <strong>USA</strong> in good standing.<br />
c) Agree to be an active part of the team.<br />
d) Participate in Team discussions, elections, and fundraisers.<br />
e) Agree to represent the <strong>USA</strong> in International <strong>Orienteering</strong> <strong>Events</strong>.<br />
f) Subscribe to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/<strong>USA</strong>_Trail-O/, the Official<br />
Team communication channel.<br />
H.4.5 If anyone declines to be on the Team the next qualified person down the Ranking<br />
list will be selected until the Team is full.<br />
H.4.6 Selection <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>for</strong> the World Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> Championships<br />
H.4.6.1 The U.S. World Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> Championships (WTOC) Team will be<br />
composed of the three highest-ranked individuals from each class in the U.S.<br />
Trail <strong>Orienteering</strong> Rankings who are eligible <strong>for</strong> the competition.<br />
H.4.6.2 If anyone declines to be on the Team the next qualified person down the Ranking<br />
list will be selected until the Team is full.<br />
