5. Installation<br />

PREPARATORY WORK<br />

An NFC proprietary surface preparation<br />

product should be used to remove all<br />

surface contaminants prior to coating.<br />

Surface must be completely dry be<strong>for</strong>e<br />

application begins.<br />

METHODS<br />

Nyalic can be applied by brush, roller or<br />

sprayer.<br />

PRECAUTIONS<br />

Use a respirator when applying by<br />

sprayer; use gloves <strong>for</strong> other application<br />

methods. Apply in a well-ventilated work<br />

area.<br />

BUILDING CODES<br />

Installation must comply with<br />

requirements of all applicable local, state<br />

and federal code jurisdictions. Good<br />

workmanship, coupled with proper<br />

detailing and design, ensure durable,<br />

functional and watertight construction.<br />

Nyalic is only available directly from NFC.<br />

7. Warranty<br />

Nyalic has a limited 5-year warranty.<br />

8. Maintenance<br />

Properly installed Nyalic requires no<br />

special maintenance and resists dirt<br />

accumulation.<br />

To clean a surface, use NFC’s Right<br />

Rinse TM and very light agitation with a soft<br />

bristle brush. Use of solvent-based<br />

cleaners will void the warranty.<br />

Scratches and abrasions can be field<br />

repaired using Nyalic in an aerosol can.<br />
