The windshield wiper, in addition to its existing parts (wiper blades<br />
etc.), has an adjunct that gets activated when the windshield glass is<br />
washed. The adjunct is fitted with an abrasive sponge designed to<br />
wash insects off without damaging the windshield glass. While the<br />
glass washing function is off, the wiper wipes the windshield glass<br />
only with the rubber blade. The innovation is designed for use in<br />
automobile industry as a windshield wiper with an additional insect<br />
remover.<br />
