The invention refers to one selective shielding system which<br />

allows the selective shielding of the electromagnetic<br />

radiation in the 500 MHz-20GHz range, simultaneously and<br />

selectively for several frequency bands, with the central<br />

radiation frequency controlled through the lengths of the<br />

microwires by combining the magnetic pr<strong>op</strong>erties of the<br />

wires with their geometrical distribution. The selective<br />

shielding system consists in CoFeSiB or FeSiB amorphous<br />

magnetic glass-coated microwires with diameters ranging<br />

between 10 µm and 30 µm and different lengths, in the<br />

centimeter range, parallel aligned in successive rows or<br />

randomly disposed on a nylon foil impregnated with an<br />

adhesive superficial layer, or dispersed in a dielectric matrix.<br />
