The t<strong>op</strong> management should consider the implementation of a<br />
quality management system in the Romanian companies just as<br />
important as the organizational technological devel<strong>op</strong>ment, from<br />
the viewpoint of the companies’ competitiveness and hence<br />
profitability. Quality management leads to the implementation,<br />
devel<strong>op</strong>ment and preservation of a series of essential processes and<br />
procedures, ideas and absolutely indispensable tools for the<br />
organizational devel<strong>op</strong>ment of the Romanian companies.<br />
International studies show that the TOP 10 most important<br />
economic powers in the world are the t<strong>op</strong> 10 countries that hold<br />
quality certificates granted for their compliance with a set of<br />
standards - China, Italy, Japan, Spain, Russia, Germany, UK, India,<br />
USA and South Korea. Quality is currently a strategic tool of<br />
general company management, and also an essential constituent<br />
influencing the company’s competitiveness.<br />
