According to the FIG and IOC Rules for Accreditation, in order to access zone blue (field of play,
competition area) and zone 2 (warm-up hall), all coaches, medical personnel, team managers
and heads of delegation will need to present an access card (AC) in conjunction with their
primary accreditation card.
All delegations will be allocated a number of zone blue and zone 2 ACs, according to the
number of registered gymnasts and officials and respecting the FIG and IOC Rules for
10 Visa International Gymnastics Work Plan: Trampoline
2.3 Nominative registrations
2.3.1 FIG licences
Each NF will only be entitled to enter the names of their gymnasts once their FIG licences have
been duly issued by the FIG. Applications for licences must be made one month (at the very latest)
before the validity date required in order to be considered by the FIG. Licence applications
received after the nominative registration deadline will not be considered for this Second Qualifier
for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and the gymnasts concerned will not be authorised to
compete. No licence requests will be handled on site and no exceptions will be made.
2.3.2 Judges
A per diem allowance of GBP40 per day (including one travel day) will be paid by LOCOG to
each judge to cover food and other out-of-pocket expenses. Each judge will be issued with a Visa
cash card at accreditation, with the appropriate total amount of money loaded on to it. This card
may then be used to withdraw cash from a machine, or may be used like a credit card to pay for
goods and services up to the limit of the amount of money on the card.
2.3.3 Fines for late entries
The fine after missing the nominative registration deadline, or after late nominative registration, is
CHF1,000.
2.3.4 Changes to the lists of names
Where an invite to this event is a quota place, names may be changed based on the procedures
set out below:
––
If a gymnast gets injured or ill between nominative registration and accreditation (except the
three medallists who earned nominative places at the 2011 Trampoline World Championships),
the injured or sick gymnast can be replaced by another gymnast and accredited upon arrival.
The FIG and LOCOG must be informed immediately (see Appendix 8).
––
In the case of injuries or illness between the time of accreditation and 24 hours before the
start of the respective qualification round, the NF is allowed to change accreditations.
The injured or ill gymnast must return his/her accreditation, and another gymnast can be
accredited. The FIG and LOCOG must be informed immediately (see Appendix 8).
––
From 24 hours before the start of the respective qualification round, no accreditations can be
changed.
2.3.5 Withdrawals
If a NF withdraws a gymnast from the qualification round, the gymnast’s place in the starting
order will not be taken by the next gymnast from the same NF. The place will remain empty.
The FIG and the LOCOG must be informed immediately about a gymnast’s withdrawal using the
Change of start list – withdrawal form (see Appendix 9).
2.4 Competition, warm-up and training venues
Note: the warm-up hall will also be at North Greenwich Arena.
The competition will be held at North Greenwich Arena (currently known as the O2 Arena; see
Appendix 1) on the point of the Greenwich Peninsula, right on the Meridian Line. Originally
built for the millennium celebrations in 2000, it was converted into a multi-purpose events and
entertainment complex in 2007, and now hosts a variety of concerts, shows and sporting events
(including, in 2009, the 41st Artistic Gymnastics World Championships). Located just across the
River Thames from the mouth of the River Lea, which flows through the Olympic Park, the venue
will have a gross capacity of 16,500 for the Artistic Gymnastics competition at London 2012 and
During all competitions, gymnasts, judges and coaches are strictly prohibited from using cellular
phones and other electronic devices.
2.7.2 Roll call and announcements
The first roll call will be conducted in the warm-up hall 10 minutes before the start of each
competition. The second roll call will be conducted at the entrance of the competition hall five
minutes before the start of each competition. The gymnasts must remain in position and may
not leave within these five minutes. Gymnasts are required to follow the instructions of the
LOCOG staff and are required to wear the competition attire for the march-ins.
Please note that the start signal for the gymnasts (in accordance with regulation 13.1 of the
Code of Points) is when the Chair of the Judges’ Panel gives permission to start, after the name
of the gymnast is announced by the speaker.
During competition, all announcements will be made exclusively in English.

2.7.3 Qualification rounds
In accordance with the FIG Technical Regulations, the gymnasts’ drawing of lots was conducted
on 8 November 2011 at the FIG offices in Lausanne. Based on the drawing of lots, the starting
order has been established as follows:
Men
Starting order for qualification rounds
Women
1 CAN He Wenna (CHN)
2 AUS UZB
3 Lu Chunlong (CHN) RUS
4 POR BRA
12 CAN POR
13 ITA NED
14 USA JPN
15 GER GBR
16 USA JPN
The starting order per gymnast for each NF will be in accordance with the nominative
registrations made by the NF, which is to say that if an NF has entered two gymnasts, the
gymnast listed first on the entry form will start first.
The starting order will be confirmed after the arrival of the nominative registered gymnasts in
London. In consultation with the Technical Committee and LOCOG, the FIG reserves the right to
apply minor adjustments to the draw and the starting order should the nominative registrations
received or the final number of participants at the time of the competition generate organisational
problems in terms of the training, podium training, warm-up and competition schedules.
Both the men’s and women’s competitions will be composed of two groups. The first group will
complete their first routine before the march-in of the second group, who will then compete their
respective first routines. Both groups will then complete their second routine in the same
competition order.
At the completion of the qualification rounds, a list of qualified and reserve gymnasts for the finals
will be published immediately and distributed to the NFs on the field of play.
The five best-ranked men (by NF) and women (by NF) in the qualifying round, excluding the
individual gold, silver and bronze medallists from the 2011 World Championships, plus the
host country gymnast if already qualified as per the ranking of the finals from the 2011
World Championships and subject to a maximum of one per NF, will each qualify an NF place
for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The NFs’ qualifying positions for London 2012 will be
acknowledged during the victory ceremony.
2.7.4 Finals
The best eight gymnasts from the qualifying rounds will qualify to participate in the finals, with
a reserve gymnast standing by. Except in the case of injury, it is expected that all qualifiers will
compete in the finals. In case of athletes’ withdrawal from finals, the FIG and the LOCOG must
be informed immediately, using the Change of start list – withdrawal form (see Appendix 9).

2.8 Ceremonies
The awards ceremonies will be held as per the enclosed schedule, and will be carried out in
accordance with the FIG and IOC Regulations for Award Ceremonies. The national flags of the
top three gymnasts will be hoisted and the national anthem of the winning gymnast will be
played. Gymnasts are required to wear their national tracksuits for the ceremony, in accordance
with IOC rather than FIG regulations.
The gymnasts ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd are requested to attend the awards ceremonies, where
they will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. There will also be an
acknowledgment of the London 2012 Olympic Games qualification places.
NFs are asked to ensure that their medallists arrive in time for the line-up before each ceremony.
2.9 FIG-certified equipment
2.10 Judges’ Panels, R judges, Superior Jury and Jury of Appeal
2.10.1 Judges
Participating NFs must provide one judge (category I–III) in order for their gymnasts to be eligible
to take part in the event. Failure to provide a judge will result in a fine of GBP2,000, payable by
the NF to LOCOG.
All judges will be required to attend all judges’ meetings and instruction. Failure to do so may
result in exclusion from Judges’ Panels. Normal FIG judging attire should be worn for the event.
2.10.2 Chairs of Judges’ Panels, R judges and D judges
The Chairs of Judges’ Panels, R judges and D judges will be nominated by the Presidential
Competition cards must be completed with the official FIG terminology using the form attached
(see Appendix 7). NFs are asked to use capital letters when completing the form.
Competition cards must be handed in to the Sport Information Desk by 18:00 on 12 January
2012, and must include routines for finals. Competition cards that have not been completed
according to the instructions in the Code of Points will be rejected.
2.13 Inquiries
Inquiries for D scores will be allowed, provided that they are made verbally immediately after
the publication of the score or, at the very latest, before the end of the routine of the following
gymnast. For the last gymnast of a group, this limit is one minute after the score has been shown
on the scoreboard. The person designated to receive the verbal inquiry, the Chair of the Judges’
Panel, must note the time he/she received it, which will start the procedure. Only accredited
coaches in the competition area and next to the competition will be entitled to submit an inquiry.
Late verbal inquiries will be rejected.
An NF will not be allowed to complain about a gymnast from another NF. Inquiries for all other
an agreement of payment of USD300 for the first complaint, USD500 for the second complaint
and USD1,000 for the third complaint. If the inquiry is not confirmed in writing within four
minutes, the procedure will become obsolete.
If the inquiry proves correct and is accepted, the sums mentioned above will be reimbursed.
Otherwise, the sums will be transferred to the FIG Foundation. Every inquiry will be examined by
the Superior Jury. A final decision, which may not be appealed, will be taken at the very latest:
––
Qualifying rounds: at the end of the round.
––
Finals: before the score of the following gymnast is shown.
For the detailed procedure, see the Technical Regulations (section 1, regulation 8.4).
2.14 Meetings and instructions
3. Operations
3.1 Travel, transport and visas
3.1.1 International transport
Travel to London will be at each delegation’s own expenses. The FIG and LOCOG strongly
recommend that each NF take cancellation insurance for their international transport. In the
case of heavily delayed or cancelled flights, please contact the competition management office
on the number(s) given in section 1.3.1 of this Work Plan.
All delegations are requested to complete Appendices 15 (Travel schedule arrival form) and 16
(Travel schedule departure form) and return them to LOCOG as soon as possible, and at the latest
by 12 December, providing details of the arrival and departure of their delegation.
3.1.2 Visas
Please verify immediately with your travel agent or the British Embassy or consulate in your
country if a visa is required for your travel to the UK.
LOCOG will be happy to assist all delegation members with an official invitation letter, provided
that the request is made on the official form (Appendix 14) by 12 December 2011. General visa
information may be found online at www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/wheretoapply
3.1.3 Arrivals
The Official Arrival Day for delegations is 11 January 2012.
3.1.4 Local transport
Accredited delegation members who:
––
stay at one of the official hotels;
––
request their accommodation through LOCOG; and
––
provide details of their travel arrangements to LOCOG by the nominative registration deadline
will be provided with local transport from all terminals at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) to the
official hotels (via the accreditation centre at GWT) on the Official Arrival Day and back on the
Official Departure Day only. Delegations arriving/departing on days other than the Official
Arrival/Departure Days will need to make their own arrangements at their own expense.
A shuttle service will be available for the local transport of all accredited persons from the
official hotels to the training, warm-up and competition venues, as well as to any other official
activities and back as needed. Depending on the traffic, it will, in principle, be necessary to
allow 30 minutes to reach the venue. Shuttle timetables will be provided to each head of
delegation upon arrival, and will also be available at the Sport Information Desk and on
display at the official hotels.
NFs that do not stay at one of the official hotels, do not book their accommodation through
LOCOG and do not provide details of their travel arrangements to LOCOG will not be entitled
to use the event’s local transportation system and will have to make their own way between the
airport and the training, warm-up and competition venues at their own expense.
The transport office phone numbers are as follows:
––
FIG: +44 (0)7711 090618
The Official Departure Day for delegations is 14 January 2012. The operating hours will be
in accordance with the submitted and confirmed departure schedules. Each delegation will be
asked to confirm the departure details of their members at accreditation. A detailed schedule for
departures will be distributed via the delegation mailboxes.

Visa International Gymnastics Work Plan: Trampoline 19
3.2 Insurance
The FIG Technical Regulations dictate that all participating NFs are responsible for making their
own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness and accidents,
and for the repatriation for all the members of their delegation. LOCOG and the FIG will not be
liable in such instances. Insurance will be verified on arrival by LOCOG, so a copy of a valid
policy or a valid cover note must be provided at accreditation. LOCOG is unable to provide
medical or travel insurance.
3.3 Accreditation
3.3.1 General principles
Accreditation identifies individuals in good standing from FIG-affiliated NFs participating in
the event. It indicates and defines individuals’ right to access to the different zones as per their
functions. All participants and officials are required to wear their accreditations at all times.
Accreditations are personal and non-transferable. They are required to gain access to the training
and competition halls, all official functions and the transport system. Access to the warm-up hall
is strictly limited to gymnasts participating in the specific competition, in accordance with the
warm-up schedule, along with their coaches, medical staff and team manager/head of delegation
with access card. Accreditations are also necessary to pass all security controls.
The FIG and IOC Accreditation Rules will be strictly applied, notably as far as the number of
accreditations per NFs is concerned. Any additional person will be considered as a spectator and
must buy entry tickets. No supplementary accreditations or observer tours will be available,
except by written request to the FIG Secretary General. Please note that the function of judge
cannot be combined with any other function.
For media accreditations, please contact the FIG Media Operations Officer, Mr Philippe Silacci,
by email at psilacci@fig-gymnastics.org.
3.3.2 Accreditation centre
The accreditation centre will be located at the training venue (see Appendix 1). The centre will
be open from 07:00 to 23:00 on the Official Arrival Day, and between 08:00 and 18:00 on
all other days.
Delegations will be taken to the accreditation centre en route from the airport to their hotel.
Late arrivals will be taken directly to the official hotels and will follow the accreditation procedure
the following morning.
To accelerate the accreditation process, each NF is invited to email a 45mm x 35mm colour
photo in JPEG format (minimum file size 50KB) of each member of the delegation, along with
their full name, to LOCOG by 12 December 2011. Each file must be named as follows:
SURNAME_Firstname_Federation_DOB (e.g. BLOGGS_Joe_GBR_06_07_1990)
Delegations that do not conform to this request may experience delays at the accreditation centre.
If no photograph is provided, or if the photograph provided is not in the required format, there
will be a charge of GBP10 for each photograph taken at the accreditation centre.
3.3.3 Control and distribution of required documents and materials upon accreditation
Upon accreditation, each head of delegation will be asked to present to LOCOG a valid passport
for all gymnasts and judges, for proof of identity and control of nationality. The gymnasts will also
be asked to present to LOCOG their valid FIG License for anti-doping purposes. Copies of these
passports will be made by LOCOG at accreditation.

20 Visa International Gymnastics Work Plan: Trampoline
At accreditation, each head of delegation must also:
––
Make any necessary payments.
––
Show proof of the cover note or photocopy of the valid insurance policy.
––
Check the correct names of their complete delegation.
––
Verify the accommodation requirements.
––
Verify the return flight schedules.
––
Hand in a CD with the music of their NF’s national anthem (see Appendix 6).
––
Hand in a 100cm x 200cm national flag (see Appendix 6).
Accreditations will not be distributed unless all financial and insurance obligations have been met.
The definitive Work Plan and schedules will be given to each head of delegation at accreditation
if needed.
3.3.4 Lost or stolen accreditations
In the case of lost or stolen accreditation, LOCOG must be informed immediately in order to block
the accreditation. Lost or stolen accreditations may be replaced at the charge of the card holder
(GBP100). Lost or stolen access cards will not be replaced.
3.3.5 Control of medical certificates
A list including all medical personnel duly approved by the FIG is available on the FIG website.
Medical personnel seeking accreditation for this event who are not on this list must send a copy
of his/her medical certificate/diploma, duly translated into English, to Mrs Chantal Steiner at the
FIG offices (csteiner@fig-gymnastics.org) and must complete the Formulaire certificat-diplôme.
Fév.2011 form, which may be downloaded from the FIG website or requested at the FIG offices
as soon as possible (but at the very latest at the nominative registration deadline). The FIG will
collect and record these certificates. Please note that without this document, the accreditation of
the relevant medical personnel will not be released.
3.4 Sport Information Desk
A Sport Information Desk (SID) will be located at the competition venue. It will open on
11 January 2012 and will be open throughout the event. The desk will provide a variety of
services to teams, as follows:
––
The dissemination of sport information, through sport publications and through discussions
with sport-specific staff.
––
The distribution of results, draw/start lists and other key competition information, including
schedule updates where required.
––
The provision of training schedule information.
––
Assistance with the communication of key information from the FIG and LOCOG to teams.
––
Information on transport services.
3.5 Delegation mailboxes
Delegation mailboxes will be set up at the Sport Information Desk (see Appendix 1). All
information regarding competition, warm-up, training, meetings, transport and official functions,
as well as FIG and LOCOG correspondences, will be distributed via the delegation mailboxes.
A special head-of-delegation mailbox card will be issued to each head of delegation.
This card must be shown by the head of delegation or their designated representative when
collecting all information and results from their delegation mailbox. The delegation member
designated to collect the information from the delegation mailbox will be required to sign
for all information collected.
3.6 Delegation seating
LOCOG will reserve 400 seats for accredited delegation members in the designated area in the
spectators’ seats (see Appendix 1). These seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Delegates are requested not to sit in any other spectator seats within the arena unless permitted
to do so by a LOCOG representative.
Reserved places will also be made available to members of the press, radio, television,
photographers and authorised officials.

should contain the reference ‘London Prepares – Gymnastics’. Payments must be made in pounds
sterling (GBP) only.
Final payments will be non-refundable. LOCOG reserves the right to release any rooms for which
payment has not been received according to the above timeframe.
3.7.3 Cancellation policy
LOCOG and the FIG strongly recommend that each NF takes out cancellation insurance for its
accommodation.

3.7.4 Check-in procedures
Once a delegation has completed the accreditation process, LOCOG will authorise the hotel to
release the relevant keys to the head of delegation. On arrival at the hotel, the head of delegation
will be required to provide proof of identification in order to collect the keys.
The check-in times are listed in the table on page 21. Please note that while LOCOG has
requested that hotels release rooms earlier in the day, it will only be possible if the previous
night’s guests have checked out and the relevant room(s) has been cleaned.
Delegation members wishing to charge any incidental costs to their rooms will be required to
provide a credit card on arrival as a guarantee.
3.7.3 Check-out procedures
The check-out times are listed in the table on page 21. Delegations wishing to check out after their
designated check-out time should make the necessary arrangements with the hotel on arrival. Any
costs associated with this will be the exclusive responsibility of the delegation.
In principle, a copy of the individual account of each delegation member will be available
the day before departure. After confirmation, the balance due will have to be paid in full on
check-out. Delegations will be responsible for all costs incurred. Personal expenses, such as room
service, laundry, telephone, minibar and the like, must be paid by delegations prior to departure.
3.8 Meals
Breakfast will be included in the price of each of the official hotels, and will be served at the times
listed in the table on page 21.
Refreshment stations will be available in the athletes’ lounges at the training and competition
venues. LOCOG will provide drinks, fruits, and snacks throughout the event for the judges on
duty. Judges will be required to provide their own meals on all days. A snack lunch will be
available to competition judges during the break between the men’s and women’s events.
No other meals will be provided and LOCOG will not be offering a meal plan option.
3.9 Medical services
LOCOG will be responsible for providing medical coverage and suitably equipped first-aid room
for injuries sustained in the competition hall, the warm-up hall and the training halls. Medical
centres (see Appendix 1) for essential emergency services, which will be staffed by a team of
doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, will be available for all accredited personnel during the
competition, warm-up and training periods. These centres will be equipped with ice, treatment
plinths (couches), emergency paramedic equipment (including emergency resuscitation unit),
medical supplies and medicines.
Richard Budgett will act as the Chief Medical Officer for the event. For emergencies, traumas,
medical treatment or request outside of the competition, warm-up and training times, please
contact the doctor on duty at the 24-hour emergency department.
An ambulance will be available on site, providing a speedy means of securing hospital treatment.
In the case of an emergency transfer to hospital, the athlete will be taken to the nearest
appropriate facility.
The certified delegation medical team, responsible for the corresponding NF, may provide the
necessary medical care for their delegation members under the provisions of their own licensing
and liability coverage. LOCOG will not provide team medical staff with medical credentials,
hospital privileges and/or liability coverage. In the case of emergency or medical treatment
being required in the official hospital, or medical treatment for a delegation without medical
staff being required, the LOCOG medical team will assist with the requests from the delegations.
For the Gymnast injury report form, see Appendix 12.

3.10 Questionnaires
In addition to being the Second Qualifier for the London 2012 Olympic Games, LOCOG are
running this event to test the competition and training halls, facilities, equipment, schedules,
technology and results, and train its event staff and volunteers ahead of final preparations for
the Olympic Games.
LOCOG will be seeking feedback from all of participants at the event in order to help improve its
facilities, services and all-round participant experience for London 2012. In order to do this,
LOCOG has designed questionnaires for gymnasts, judges and heads of delegation, which will
be available at accreditation and throughout the event. We encourage every participant to help
shape the London 2012 experience by providing us with your feedback.

the athletes to stop in the mixed zone, but cooperation with the press will be most appreciated.
