BASIC VEHICLE Coverage includes all factory-installed components of the vehicle/chassis
that are not excluded elsewhere in the wananty, or by special agreement or described as

ALLIANCE BATTERY Only Freightliner LLCb private brand-label batteries sold under the
Alliance Parts brand name will be warranted.
BRIGHTWORK Warranty coverage includes all factory-installed components with chrome,
pofished aluminum. or polished stainless steel surfaces.
CAB CORROSION/PERFORATION Coverage is limited to rust-through or perforation of
the cab and inteqral sleeper structure and sleeper box due to corrosion ftom within.
CAB STRUCTURE Coverage includes cab and integral sleeper structuml components,
structural components of factory installed sleeper boxes, sheet metal panels, doors, and
hoods.
CHASSIS PAINT Coverage includes all factory painted surfiaces on frame rails,
crossmembers/gussets, front and rear bumpers, suspension components, power train
components, drivelines, fuel tanks, air tanks, wheel end equipment, tool boxes, battery
boxes. accessteps. and attachino brackets and hardware aoainst peelino or non-adhesion
CORROSION Provides warranty against corrosion to any metal or metal alloy pad of the
vehicle.
CROSSMEMBERS Coverage includes crossmembers, gussets, and huck-mounting bolts
that attach gussets to crossmembers and gussets/crossmembers to frame rails. Excludes any
bolt-on item attached with either conventional or huck bolts.
DRIVETRAIN Coverage includes transmission (except Allison transmissions), steer axle(s),
and drive axle(s).
FRAME RAILS Warranty limited to breaking or cracking of factory installed frame rails,
frame rail liners, frame rail extersions, and any item(s) factory welded to them.
PAINT Warranty covers factory-painted Body/Cab/Cowl (except what is covered under chassis
paint) against orange peel, peeling/delaminatirg, cracking/checking, or loss of gloss due to
crackino/checkinq.

The following section outlines Company standard warranty coverages for all Company
vehicles, apparatus or chassis or cabs sold and domiciled in the USA (50 states and
Washingiton, D.C.) and Canada. This information is also included in the Operator's
[/aintenance and Ovner's Vl/arranty Information Manual.
1.1 NEW VEIIICLE LIMITED WARRANTY
Under this New Vehicle Limited Vlhrranty ("Vihnant]/'), Company warranb that each
new vehicle will be free from defects in material and workmanship that occur under
normal use within the applicable warranty period, sublect to certain limitations and
exclusions as specified in this docum€nt.
This Wananty covers all components and parts unless speciflcalty covered by other
warranties or othemise excluded by this docurunt.
1.2 LIMITATIOI{S
This \ hrranty does not apply to vehicles that are sold or domiciled outside of the Unated

Purchaser must notify Company within tf€ applicable warranty period, of any
failure of the vehicle to comply with this WarrarW and Purchaser must, at
Purchasefs expense, promptly return the vehicle to an authorized Dealer lor
inspection and repair or replacement of any defect in material or workmanship
occurring within the applicable warranty peraod.
The vehicle must be maintained and serviced according to the prescribed
schedules outlined in the Driver's/Operatofs and Maintenance Manuals
Receipted tills and other evidence that required maintenance and service have
been perfornpd are required by Company as a condition of this \ hrranty.
After tfre Company's obligations under this ! hrranty expire, all liabilities of
Company to Purchaser under this \ hrranty shall terminate. Repairs made under
this Warranty do not constitute an extenslon of the orignal !\hrranty period for
the vehicle or for any specific component or part.
To the extent that any provision of this Mhrranty contravenes the law of any
