System advantages compared to other oil-fired 


Due to the boiler’s construction, the flue gas is cooled down to about 60°C – 80°C 

already inside the boiler body where it transfers the major part of its heat to the boiler 

water, before it enters the plastic heat exchanger. 

■ Permanent condensation, completely independent from the return temperatures 

(see comparison). 

■ The boiler body stays dry due to the integrated return temperature lifting. This has got 

a positive effect on cleaning the boiler, as the residues can be removed very easily 

and quickly. 

■ The heat exchanger where the condensation takes place is made of TUV-approved 

plastic and thus resistant against acid sulphur (sulphur dioxide + water). 

Therefore, no sulphur-free heating oil is needed. 


■ Furthermore, the heat transfer is exclusively done in a counterflow with air/flue gas. 

So there is no pollution nor blocking. Due to the permanent condensation, the 

secondary heat exchanger virtually cleans itself. There is no rusting through with our 

KROLL system. 

■ Due to the permanent condensation, the heat exchanger practically cleans itself. 

■ Should the plastic heat exchanger be polluted due to wrong or bad burner settings, 

it can be cleaned very easily with water. 

■ The flue gas is washed out due to the permanent condensation. 

The environmentally harmful acid sulphur is neutralized in the neutralization box 

and is lead into the canalization, now pH-free. So, only “water steam” is emitted into 

the atmosphere, no sulphur dioxide. 

This is a very positive effect on the environment! 

■ Due to the integrated modulating flue gas fan, the combustion chamber pressure 

is adapted to the weather conditions. This gives constant combustion conditions, 

independent from draught or pressure in the chimney.

Operating mode of the permanently condensing boilers 

The flue gas being created at a flame temperature of about 1200°C is cooled down 

to about 70°C by the flue gas passes which are surrounded by the boiler water. 

Here, it transfers the major part of the sensible heat to the boiler water. 

The water is heated up from at least 55°C to maximum 80°C, going upwards in a counterflow. 

After that, the flue gas enters the secondary heat exchanger made of PP plastic where first 

more of the sensible heat and then, after reaching the dew point temperature, the latent 

heat is used to heat up the fresh air, taken in for the burner, to up to 60°C. 

The flue gas leaves the system with less than 48°C (for heating oil) and enters the chimney 

via the plastic flue gas pipe. There, it cools down to about 20°C to 40°C at the end of the 

chimney, using the air that comes in from the outside and then goes to the plastic heat 

exchanger and finally to the burner. 

The air which is taken in from the outside is already preheated inside the chimney to 

about 30°C.

The fuels and their environmental compatibility 

Mineral, vegetable and animal oils can be used as fuel without significant modifications 

to the burner. 

No special tools are necessary. All you have to do is turn a dial to re-adjust the pre-heating 

temperature and the combustion air according to the fuel to be used.

Due to ever increasing costs of mineral oils, vegetable oils have become more and 

more important. 

Their energetic density is very close to the values of heating oil. Vegetable oils are 

renewable, CO 2 

-neutral and do not contain any sulphur or heavy metals. 

■ the technique of KG/UB20P – KG/UB200 

The combustible is atomized using compressed air at comparatively low pressures. 

This allows larger nozzle diameters which prevent blocking of the nozzles even if polluted 

or viscous oils are burnt. A separate fuel supply system sucks the combustible out of the 

storage tank and pushes is reliably over large distances to the burner. Here, it is filtered 

and preheated. 

This is important for a consistently good quality of ignition and combustion of the oil. 

■ Compressed air supply 

In many industrial companies, there is a compressed air supply. 

This can be used to supply the multi-fuel oil burners KG/UB20P – KG/UB200 with compressed 

air. If you do not have an existing compressed air supply, you can create the compressed 

air that is necessary to run our burner using our especially developed Kroll compressors. 

The have a long durability and are very silent in operation. 

■ Fields of application 


Warm air heaters are the most efficient way of heating commercial or industrial halls, 

garages, production halls, warehouses etc. 

And especially, if this is done with a multi-fuel oil burner instead of a conventional oil or 

gas burner. Kroll offers a large range of warm air heaters which are matched especially 

for this use. 

Heating boilers of newer or older years of construction can easily be equipped with a 

multi-fuel oil burner. You can decide which combustible you want to use: 

If for economic or ecological reasons – you always make the right choice. 

KG/UB20P – KG/UB200 are TUV-approved for technical rapeseed oil!

KG/UB450 – KG/UB1300 

The KROLL multi-fuel oil burners KG/UB450 to KG/UB1300 operate by the emulsion principle. 

They can be used for the combustion of mineral, vegetable and animal oils. 

Depending on the type of oil, the receiving tank can be preheated to up to 90°C, which 

influences the viscosity. The ideal mixture of combustible and combustion air (emulsion) 

and their spraying in the nozzles ensures a clean combustion. 

The two burner stages can be set separately from each other. The electric control devices 

allow a perfect setting of the combustion. 

High-quality components ensure a durable and reliable operation. 

Maintenance and cleaning can be done easily.

The solution is simple: 

The heater is mounted at the wall. 

The Kroll warm air heaters type “H” for wall mounting are compact and possess all the 

characteristics of the well-proven stationary and mobile Kroll warm air heaters. 

The units are available with heating powers from 25,5 to 64 kW. They are also available as 

type SL, including oil burner, room thermostat, integrated tank and oil filter. 

Direct firing converts up to 93 % of the energy into heat. The units are equipped with air 

outlet grill, electric control box and 3-fold built-in thermostat. 

If requested, we deliver the warm air heaters type “H” with the suitable oil burner, 

gas burner or multi-fuel oil burner. 

The units are also available as a complete kit for heating with oil. 

This kit contains the warm air heater, an oil burner, oil filter with return admixing and the 

suitable wall bracket. The flue gas is lead outside via a chimney. 

The silent fan distributes the warm air constantly and gently. 

The unit also has a summer facility, which allows the unit to serve as a ventilator without 

the burner working. 

The warm air heaters are efficient, economical and environmentally friendly.

Mobile and immediately ready to use – the main characteristics 

of the Kroll heat plant HM. 

It is extremely suitable for use in various locations, such as tents, major construction sites, 

warehouses etc., and as additional, temporary or replacement heating unit. 

The Kroll heating unit HM200 is of compact construction. There are no parts or connections, 

such as the air inlet/exhaust, protruding over the area of the HM200. It can easily be moved 

by a fork lift, with its “pallet-type“base it can easily be moved wherever it is needed. It fits 

crossways on a standard lorry and is easily and safely stackable, a fact, 

that is especially interesting for rental companies. 

All components of the unit, such as the burner, ventilator, control box etc. are enclosed 

within the robust housing. The heating unit is therefore protected against abuse or misuse 

by any unauthorized persons. 

Furthermore, the models HM200 can be operated with a natural gas burner or an LPG 

burner. 

Furthermore, the unit is also available as a two-stage version (not HM100). 

The unit works eco nomically: 

The energy is converted directly and with a degree of efficiency of 93 %. 

The unit can operate in various configurations with recirculated air, fresh air or a mixture 

of both. 

Due to the high pressure of 350 – 400 Pa, long warm air hoses can be connected. 

The distribution of the warm air can be done via one or more warm air hoses at the same 

time. This feature gives you more options in locating the unit on site. 

The housing is galvanized and painted in a colour similar to RAL 7047. 

The installation is easy to maintain, all component parts are positioned in a clearly 

arranged manner, and, thanks to removable side-panels, easy to reach. 

Various accessories make the heat plants even more attractive:

but also allow the production of warm concrete during the freezing periods. 

Kroll concrete silo heating systems ensure a trouble-free mixing in winter. 

In the building trade, the cold season generates a lot of problems. Snow and frost cause 

delays or even bring processes to a standstill. 

In this respect, the problems of frozen aggregates and freezing water are of crucial 

importance. In order to solve this problem, Kroll offers tailor-made heating systems for 

concrete mixing plants which help you to be ready to deliver at any time and thus give

The electric fan heaters are perfect for use in rather small rooms and in rooms of medium 

size.The smaller types are the ideal extra heaters in large rooms. 

They are designed for being operated in workshops, nurseries, shops, exhibition rooms, 

warehouses, site huts, or elsewhere on building sites. 

There, they provide comfortable heat in spring and in autumn or if there is a sudden onset 

of cold weather. They can be used as frost control, too.

The heat is dispensed efficiently and in a concentrated way to the ambient air by a powerful 

fan.

The electric fan heaters do not use up any oxygen. They do not give off any unpleasant 

smell at all, so they can also be operated in rooms which have bad or even no means of 

ventilation. They are ready for use everywhere, and at once. Temperature can be adjusted 

and is controlled by a thermostat. 

In summer, they can be used for ventilating rooms as well.

All appliances are VDE- checked and thermally protected. The enclosed heating elements 

have got a stainless jacket, the boxes consist of galvanized steel sheet and, in addition, 

they are stove-enamelled. They are of stable construction!

You will find a place for them even in very confined space.

The professional units te40 – te120 and TK30/TK60 are used to accelerate drying process 

with new buildings, at renovation works and to fix water damages.

The units are easy to install, immediately ready for use and of silent operation. 

■ Automatic hot gas defrosting: 

Ensures trouble-free operation also when the unit is running permanently. 

This leads to an elevated degree of efficiency and very short operation breaks.

Quicker drying on site by using a fan… 

For quicker drying, every dehumidifier on site should be complemented by a fan, which 

considerably influences the dehumidifying performance and thus the duration of the 

drying process. 

The stronger air change results in a quicker vaporization, because the higher the flow 

speed on the material surface, the quicker the drying process. 

The combination of dehumidifier/fan can halve the drying time! 

An oversized dehumidifier does not give you quicker but longer dehumidifying times 

and thus unnecessarily high electricity costs.

Conditions of Sales 

and Delivery

In commercial business transactions 

§1 General Conditions 

1. Our sales and delivery conditions are exclusively applicable. Statements of the Buyer contradicting to 

or deviating from our general business conditions will not be recognised, although they are not explicitly 

contradicted and/ or delivery has been effected without any reservation. 

2. These sales and delivery conditions are applicable for all current and future business relations. Former, 

eventually otherwise expressed sales and delivery conditions lose their validity. 

§2 conclusion of the contract 

1. Our offers are subject to change. 

2. Technical and constructive changes, like change in form, colour and / or weight are subject to reasonable 

changes. 

3. Orders, amendments and changes to an order, shall be recognised only when they are confirmed by us in a 

written form, or the goods from the order are already delivered. 

4. Costs estimations, drawings and other similar documents should be treated as private and intellectual property 

of our company and we reserve the rights for them. 

§3 terms of delivery 

1. Agreed delivery periods begin with the conclusion of the contract, however, not before the receipt of 

all documents to be given from the purchaser, including complete technical specification, authorizations, 

approvals or provisions, which are necessary for the execution of the contract, and not before the agreed 

payment is received. 

2. The Seller is authorized to undertake a partial delivery, in case they are inevitable and reasonable. 

3. Events of acts of nature beyond controls, as well as other unforeseen circumstances, especially malfunctions 

in provision, production or delivery, strike, lockout or similar, release us for the duration of the pertubation, as 

well as for a reasonable start-up period, – also during an already given delayed delivery period –, from our 

delivery obligation, as far as the pertubation has not been caused consiously or grossly negligently by us, our 

legal representatives, auxiliary persons or assistants. If delivery becomes,for the above mentioned reasons, 

impossible or economically unreasonable, we are released from our contractual obligations. Claims for 

damages from the purchaser are excluded. 

4. Our delivery obligation stays at rest, as long as there are not only inessential purchaser’s depts in arrear. 

§4 Prices and payment conditions 

1. The prices confirmed by us are applicable ex works, packing excluded, plus the current obligatory value 

added tax. 

2. Expenditures that arise from changes in the way or the amount of the delivery and on request of the buyer after 

our order confirmation, and/ or arising from the fulfillment of afterwards occurred, or unforeseeable authority 

instructions, will be also charged in addition to the quoted purchasing price. 

3. In case of decisive change of price factors for working material, vendor parts, salaries, social charges, enery 

costs, turnover and commercial taxes or customs duties after the conclusion of the contract, we reserve the right 

to increase the prices stated in the order confirmation, accordingly for those goods, that are to be delivered 

after more than six weeks after conclusion of the contract. In case of a price increase of more than 5% on the 

prices stated in the order confirmation, the purchaser has the right to resign from the contract within one month 

after being informed of the change in price. 

4. Assembly costs will be separately charged. 

5. Discounts from price are to be stated in written form. 

6. Unless otherwise specified, the purchasing price is to be payed without deduction within 30 days after invoice 

date. 

7. The Buyer has the right for charging only when his / her claim is legally stated, unquestionable or acknowledged 

by us. 

8. The Buyer has the right of retention only as far as his/ her counterclaim is based on the same contractual 

relation. 

9. If we become aware of any circumstances, which justify legitimate doubts concerning the Buyer’s 

creditworthyness, and if the Buyer is, in spite of respective demand, not ready to pay in advance or to provide 

appropriate securitiy, we reserve the right to resign from the contract. 

§5 transfer of perils 

1. The delivery of goods is generally effected ex works. 

2. Risk of conicidential loss or coincidential deterioration of goods is passed to the Buyer when the Goods are 

placed at the disposal of the Buyer at the Seller’s premises, or, in case of consignment purchase, in the moment 

of transfer of the goods to the forwarding agent. When the Buyer is unable to receive the goods, the risk of 

coincidential loss and of coincidential deterioration of the goods is passed from the Seller to the Buyer from the 

day on, when the Buyer is adviced of the good’s readiness to be dispatched. Eventually occuring storage costs 

are for the account of the Buyer.

§6 Reservation of property rights 

1. We reserve the property right for our goods, until entire payment is received, also for all outstanding claims 

existing in the complete business relation. 

2. In case the Buyer does not abide the contract, especially concering the payment conditions, we have the 

right to cancel the contract and to collect back our goods. After taking back the goods, we have the right 

to use them. The revenue coming out of the exploitation of the goods is credited on the Buyer’s payables – 

appropriate costs of exploitation deducted-. In case the withdrawal cannnot be realised we are entitled to 

claim for damages. 

3. The Buyer has the right to resell the goods in accordance with his / her adequate and orderly accounting 

business. The buyer transfers, already now, all claims against his buyers of the resold goods, to us. We herewith 

accept the transfer. The Buyer remains authorized to collect claims transferred to us. This authorisation expires 

immediately when the Buyer ceases his payments. 

4. In case of garnishment, other interventions of other persons or eventual damages or destruction of the goods, 

the Buyer has to inform us immediately. Also a change of property of the purchased subject, as well as a 

change of registered office has to be indicated without delay. 

§7 claims for defects 

1. The Buyer has the right to claim defects only after his duly fulfilled obligations of inspection and reproval 

according to § 377 HGB. 

2. In case there is evidence of defect taken by us, we will eliminate it at our option and for our account, or we 

will deliver goods without defects (supplementary performance). The purchaser has the obligation to allow 

examination of the goods – if demanded- also by third party. 

3. As caracter of the object of purchase, only our product description is valid. Paralell public exclamation, praise 

or advertising does not represent any contractual indication of the caracter of the goods. 

4. We take responsibility according to legal law, as far as the purchaser is claiming compensation, which 

result of intention or gross negligency. As long our behaviour can not be prouved as an intentional or grossly 

negligent breach of duty, the responsibility of compensation is limited to the damage, arising typically in the 

respectiv case. This is not valid for responsibility of life, body or health, neither for the obligatory responsibility 

according to the law of product liability. 

5. The period for claiming defected goods by the purchaser is one year from the date of delivery of the goods. 

6. The purchaser is not given any guarranties in the sense of Law by us. Guarantees of producer are not concerned 

herewith. 

§ 8 responsibility 

1. Concerning other claims for damages we are responsible at best, in case of lightly negligent breach of duty, 

only for that kind of damage, that is typically arising for this kind of the object of purchase. This is valuable also 

for lightly negligent breaches of duty by our legal representatives or assistants. 

2. Our responsibility for lightly negligent breaches of unessential duties is excluded. 

3. Responsibility of guilty damage of life, body or health remains untouched. Also the obligatory responsibility 

according the law of product liability. 

§9 Place of fullfillment 

The place of fullfillment for delivery is respectively the place from where the goods are sent, for payments and 

other liabilities reporting to the contract it is the address of the our registered office. 

§10 final Clauses 

1. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is valid. The clauses of UN Convention on Contracts for the 

International Sale of Goods are not applicable. 

2. As an exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes out of this contract the competence of either the Regional or the 

County court is agreed, dependent of the value of the object. 

3. Purchaser’s date necessary for the execution of the order, are safed and processed for own purpose. Notification 

according § 33 BDSG resulted with this. 

4. Should single terms of the contrat, including these conditions of sale and delivery, are or become partially or 

completely void, the validity of the other terms remain thereof untouched. The completely or partially void 

term, shall be replaced by a term, whose economic success is as close as possible to that of the void term.
