1. What is the Digicel’s ‘Gimme FIVE’ Text to Win Promotion
a. The Digicel‟s „Gimme FIVE‟ Text to Win Promotion gives all Digicel customers
a chance to win great prizes by completing trivia relating to the Digicel‟s 4G
Broadband Product.
2. Who is eligible to enter this promotion
a. All Digicel customers, including postpaid, prepaid, dual and hybrid customers are
qualified to participate in the promotion.
3. How do I enter the promotion
a. You may enter by texting the word PLAY to 4442480.
b. Upon texting the word PLAY you will receive a text message with a trivia
question relating to Digicel‟s „Gimme FIVE Million‟. The customer is required to
respond with the correct letter representing the answer to the trivia question. (For
example, Digicel „Gimme $5M‟ is a a) Drink b) Promotion c)Sport)
c. You are then required to respond with the letter representing the correct answer.
In the example above the correct answer is B. Therefore, you should write “B” in
the text message.
d. If you answer correctly, you will continue to receive a series of words until all
the trivia questions have been completed correctly
e. There will be a total of ten (10) questions to complete the game
f. Each correct answer is an entry into the draw.
4. How do I know if my answer is correct
a. If the answer sent in is correct you will receive one of the messages below with
the next trivia question to answer:
i. “You are correct! …”
ii. “Right answer, keep playing! ...”

iii. “That‟s correct! ...”
iv. “You‟re doing well! ...”
v. WOW you‟re doing great! …”
vi. You‟re correct, keep playing! Now unscramble …”
b. Messages will continue until you have responded with the correct answers to
complete all ten (10) trivia questions.
5. What message do I receive if the answer is incorrect
a. If the answer sent in is incorrect, you will receive the following text message:
i. “Sorry, that answer is incorrect, try again.”
b. If you answer incorrectly, you can choose to retry the last trivia question received
until you complete the question correctly and continue the game. (For example, if
a customer answers C in the example quoted in question 3 above, he should
reattempt the correct answer to same question)
6. How do I know that I have completed all ten (10) phrases correctly
a. Once you have correctly completed ten (10) trivia questions the following text
message will be sent to your phone:
i. ““Congrats, you have successfully completed the
Digicel Jus Buss Trivia Game. Remember the more
you play the more chances you have to win”
7. Do I get one entry for each correct answer
a. Yes. You will receive one entry for each correct answer that is sent.
i. Note: You will also receive one entry when you send the word PLAY to
start the game.
8. Do I have to complete the game for a chance to win
a. No. You will receive one entry for each correct answer that is sent. As such, you
are not required to complete the game in order to gain an entry in the competition.

9. Is there a cut off time for entries to be received

a. Yes. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm on Sunday, October 31, 2010.
10. What is the cost to enter
a. Each text message sent to 4442480 costs $20 per 160 characters.
i. Note: This includes the initial text “PLAY” to enter the competition.
11. What will I have a chance to win
a. One customer who enters the competition has a chance to win the prize package

13. What is the promotional period
a. The promotion begins on Monday, October 25, 2010 and ends 11:59 p.m. on
Sunday, October 31, 2010.
14. When will the winner be selected
a. The winner will be selected on Monday, November 1, 2010
15. How often am I allowed to enter
a. You are allowed to enter as often as you wish.
16. How will the winner be selected
a. One winner will be randomly selected from the pool of correct entries.
17. How many winners will be selected
a. One (1) winner will be selected on Monday, November 1, 2010 at the end of the
promotion.
18. How will I know if I have won

a. If your entry was selected you will be contacted via a phone call by a
representative from Digicel.
19. What if I was called, but I missed the call
a. In order to win the prize you are required speak with the Digicel representative.
b. If the call is unanswered then the attempt has failed. A failed attempt includes
calls that are unanswered, calls that go to the voicemail or if the phone is turned
off.
c. Five (5) attempts, within an hour, will be made to contact each customer that is
chosen.
d. If all five (5) attempts fail, then another potential winner is selected.
20. If I was contacted and won where do I collect the prize
a. You will be required to collect your prize at the Digicel office located in
Kingston.

21. If I was contacted and have won, how long do I have to collect my prize
a. You are required to collect your prize within thirty (30) days of being contacted.
22. What do I need in order to claim the prize
a. You are required to take with you the following items
i. A government issued photo ID (passport, driver‟s license or national
voter‟s card)
ii. The phone with the SIM card for the winning number that was used to
enter.
23. Am I allowed to enter if I am under 18 years of age
a. Yes. Persons under 18 years are allowed to enter.

24. What do I do if I have won and I am under 18 years old
a. If you are a winner and are under 18 years old you will be required to be escorted
by a parent or guardian with a valid photo ID when visiting the office to collect
your prize package.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE ‘DIGICEL GIMME FIVE MILLION
DOLLARS TRIVIA’ TEXT TO WIN COMPETITION
1. The ‘DIGICEL GIMME FIVE MILLION DOLLARS TRIVIA TEXT TO WIN
COMPETITION’ (‚the Competition‛) is available to all Digicel customers (‚the
Customer‛)
2. The Competition will run for approximately two (2) weeks starting from October 25 th ,
2010 to 11:59 pm on October 31, 2010 (‚the Competition Period‛).
3. The Competition is authorized under Section 58 (3) of the Betting, Gaming & Lotteries
Act.
4. To enter the Competition the Customer must text ‚PLAY‛ to 444-2480, the Customer
will then get a message stating ‚Welcome to Digicel Gimme Five Million Dollars Trivia
Game‛
5. An example of the trivia question is as follows: Reply with the letter for the correct
answer for a chance to win! Digicel Gimme Five Million Dollars Promotion begins A)Sep
1 B)Oct 1 C)Nov 30‛
6. The customer is required to reply with the letter B to represent the correct answer ‚Oct
1‛ to 444-2480 (N.B other variations of the correct answer will be accepted. For
example, ‚B Oct 1‛ will also be accepted as a correct answer).
7. If the Customer gets the right answer they continue to play. The customer will get a
response including the next trivia question to complete. This will continue until the
Customer gets one answer wrong or until the Customer has correctly responded to all
ten (10) trivia questions.
8. If the Customer answers incorrectly, they can choose to retry the last trivia question
received until they answers the question correctly and continues the game.
9. If the Customer has correctly responded to all ten (10) trivia questions, they complete the
game and will receive a message stating ‚Congrats, you have successfully completed the
Digicel Gimme Five Million Dollars Trivia Game. Remember the more you play the
more chances you have to win.‛
10. All the trivia questions will be related to the Digicel Gimme Five Million Dollars
Promotion.
11. The Customer can play the game as many times as they wish.

12. Where a Customer has already begun the game and continues to play at another time,
for example on another day during the Competition Period, the Customer will continue
playing ten (10) trivia questions in each game cycle. Digicel may change the ten (10)
trivia questions during the Competition Period as they see fit.
13. Text to ‚PLAY‛ and each text sending a correct answer will be one entry into the draw
to win the prize. A customer is not required to complete the game to gain and entry. For
example, if a Customer sends in five (5) correct answers they will get five (5) entries into
the draw and one (1) additional entry for texting ‚PLAY‛. An incorrect answer does not
give the Customer an entry into the draw.
14. Each text will cost $20 each and each text is regarded as an entry.
15. Text messages are limited to 160 characters. If the text message exceeds 160 characters
the Customer will be charged for an additional text message. Each additional text
message will cost $20.
16. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on October 31, 2010 to be eligible for the draw on
November 1, 2010.
17. After the Competition Period, a winner will be selected at random from all the correct
responses on November 1, 2010.
18. Digicel may, at its sole discretion, have ‘Double Entry Day’ offers whereby Digicel will
match every correct entry with another entry on the Customer’s behalf; therefore the
Customer will have more chances to win. The Customer will be notified by messages to
their phone or by notice on Digicel’s website if Digicel is participating in ‘Double Entry
Day’ during the Competition Period. The Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission
(BGLC) will be notified prior to the running of this ‘Double Entry Day’.
19. The Customer enters the Competition to win a Prize Package which includes:
a. A Blackberry 9700 Bold 2 (valued approx. JA$51,150.00 + GCT)
with three months FREE Blackberry subscription
b. A Blackberry goodies bag containing Blackberry accessories
c. 1 MP4 Player
d. US$500 Cash prize, and
e. JA$5,000 in Digicel Call Credit
20. There will be one (1) winner of the draw for the Competition who will get the Prize
Package
21. Digicel will contact the winner by telephone on the day the winner is selected.
22. A maximum of five (5) calls will be made to the selected winner within a period of an
hour. If no response is received during that hour, another winner will be selected until a
winner has been contacted.
23. The Winner will have thirty (30) days within which to collect their prizes.
24. Prizes are to be collected from Digicel, RKA Building, 10-16 Grenada Way, Kingston 5.
25. Winners must bring valid photographic identification and the phone and sim card with
which they entered the Competition in order to redeem the Prize Package.
26. Minors are eligible for this Competition but must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian when coming to redeem their prize.

27. Digicel employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies,
advertising, Competition and public relations agencies, dealers, distributors, or anyone
else connected with this Competition and their immediate family members and
household members are not eligible for entry. For these purposes immediate family
members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.
28. Winners will be required to participate in any planned publicity in connection with this
competition. By entering the Competition, the prize winner consents to the use of his
name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or
advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by us or
our agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity.
If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize.
29. Digicel, with consultation and prior approval from the BGLC, reserves the right to at
any time vary the terms of the Competition, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to
withdraw the Competition. In any of these events notice will be given via media
advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the
date referred to in such notifications.
30. Digicel, with consultation and prior approval from the BGLC, reserves the right to
terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition if any fraud, virus or other
technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper play of the
Competition. In such event, Digicel hereby specifically reserve the right (but not the
obligation) to award some other prize hereunder (as determined by Digicel, with
consultation and prior approval from the BGLC) by means of a random drawing from
among the eligible entries received up until the time of the impairment.
