B.2.4 Wavelet Analysis and Activity Plot Program
This program is a MATLAB m-file. Upon starting MATLAB, type whitebg for a white
graphic background.
1. The data needed is the interpolated inter-beat interval ASCII file. In LabVIEW,
after you have created the heart rate or blood pressure IIBI file, you must make sure it is
an ASCII file with channel data in column format with the extension (filename.asc). In
order to run the MATLAB program, type:
d_wvlet
2. The program will ask you to enter the filename without extension. Type in the
filename then hit return.
Agu1hrbp (of the Agu1hrbp.asc file)
3. Enter the channel number you want to analyze.
1 (or 2, 3, 4...)
4. Enter the sampling rate of the data.
200 (or the appropriate sampling rate)
5. Enter the window size in seconds.
1
6. Enter the fft size:
256
Make sure fftsize sampling rate * window size. Otherwise, 3D plots will be badly
scaled. Choose fft to be 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 or any other number in power of 2.
7. Enter name of the wavelet used:
morl (Morlet:morl, Meyer:meyr, Daubechies 4:dB4,...)

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
