The activity plots for BPV using the Monlet, Meyer, dB4, Mexican Hat and Haar
wavelet all show similar trend. The non-normalized plots paint a better picture of what is
happening. The LF starts out high and decreases to near zero in about 2 minutes, then
changes direction trying to get back to the beginning state. The HF also starts out high
but decreases to near zero value in half the time as the LF and stays near zero for almost 4
minutes before heading back up to the beginning state. All the normalized plots of LF
and HF show mirror images but totally opposite of each other. The LF/HF ratio plots all
start near zero indicating that there is stronger parasympathetic effect at the beginning.
However, the sympathovagal balance tries to reach to a level of twice that of the vagal
tone for almost the entire 5-minute session.
