A very recent study investigated the efficacy of
Spascupreel tablets versus butyl scopolamine
bromide in 254 children (aged 12 or younger) with
spasms of the stomach, intestines, or urinary tract.
70% of the patients were suffering from acute

Injection solution: In acute disorders several times a day, otherwise 1-3 times
a week 1 ampoule i.m., s.c., i.d., i.v. Suppositories: Unless otherwise
prescribed, insert 1 suppository into the anus 2-3 times a day. For acutely
painfulconditions, use 1 suppository every hour. For infants under six months,
use 1/2 suppository at a time.
