Susan Varon is a poet, artist and Interfaith minister, who moved<br />
to Taos 3 years ago after 40 years in New York City. She began writing<br />
poetry in 1992, after suffering a severe stroke. Her work has appeared in<br />
over 40 publications, including Green Mountains Review, The Midwestern<br />
Quarterly and Notre Dame Review.<br />
Sarah Velez is a photography and creative writing major with an<br />
interest in exploring the beauty in seemingly dark themes. She enjoys<br />
acting, singing, forensic photography, and playing the banjo. Sarah<br />
hopes that her writing will one day let her travel the world.<br />
Chasity Vigil is a <strong>Santa</strong> <strong>Fe</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> Alumna who is<br />
currently attending The Institute of American Indian Arts where<br />
she hopes to attain her BFA in creative writing by December <strong>2011</strong>.<br />
She intends to go on to graduate school and eventually become a<br />
teacher in writing.<br />
Liz Wallace is a full time jewelry designer and manufacturer. She<br />
loves writing when she can, and often uses her Native American background<br />
as inspiration. She also acts and bellydances.<br />
Linda Whittenberg turned to poetry after retiring from Unitarian<br />
Universalist ministry. Two collections were published in 2009: Dying<br />
Can Wait, Pudding House Publications and Tender Harvest, a finalist for<br />
the New Mexico Book Award. Another collection of poems inspired by<br />

Nancy Wing is published both in poetry journals, as well as selfpublished.<br />
She is a first prize winner of the Poetry Society of Virginia.<br />
She is known for her poetry readings with and without original music.<br />
She also continues to organize and support poetry in her community.<br />
