AGREEMENT WITH
HAYTAK FZE
Rawabi Trading and Contracting has
recently signed a new agreement with
Haytak FZE to manufacture and supply
drilling chemicals to Saudi Aramco.

RAWABI ALLIS-CHALMERS IS
NOW RAWABI ARCHER
Following the merger of Seawell and
Allis-Chalmers Energy, both companies
with a long history in the oil service industry,
Archer The Well Company was
formed to become a global oilfield service
provider specializing in drilling
services and well services. Having an
equally-owned joint venture in Saudi
Arabia, Archer was pleased to continue
with the already established partnership
between Rawabi Holding and Allis-Chalmers.
Haytak has four manufacturing /distribution
sites in the Middle East and
Europe.
In the upcoming months, there will
be many exciting changes to reflect
this new merger of Rawabi Holding’s
partner company. The expected name
change that will reflect this new partnership
is Rawabi-Archer (RAC). This
merger allows for a more diverse product
line to be introduced into the Kingdom.
Rawabi Archer held its first official
board of directors meeting in Dubai
in the beginning of July. The two partners
discussed past performance and
common objectives. With the purpose
of the companies aligned, the vision
of the joint venture was a positive one
that all are looking forward to.
Furthermore, RAC participated along
with Rawabi Holding in the Middle
East Oil & Gas Show 2011. The conference
(organized by the SPE) is the
largest technical conference in the region
and was held in Bahrain from the
26 – 28 of September (see page 32).
