• Provide in kind support to social assistance and community<br />
development projects through Fideicomiso Súmate (“Jump<br />
on Board” Trust) comprising contributions from Group<br />
employees.<br />
• Deliver toys to children and teenagers in public hospitals<br />
and orphanages throughout Mexico through our Playing,<br />
Playing and with Banorte-<strong>Ixe</strong> Helping project.<br />
• Through Fundación Banorte channel funds and talent to<br />
the training and professional development of the human<br />
capital of not-for-profit organizations in order to improve<br />
their performance, services and accountability to donors.<br />
• Provide scholarships, experience and knowledge to CSO<br />
board members and staff to develop skills and abilities in<br />
the social and philanthropic development sector through<br />
advice, sponsorship and participation in special congresses.<br />
• Volunteer time and talent through Corporate Responsibility<br />
initiatives to causes chosen by employees or activities of<br />
Fundación Banorte and Súmate.<br />
•Work continues to be done on the UN Global Compact<br />
Communication on Progress and various conferences and<br />
training workshops are also held.<br />
• Suppliers are advised that they will receive payment within<br />
15 to 20 working days. The process also receives ongoing<br />
follow-up.<br />
• All suppliers are provided with complete and identical<br />
information to compete in a bid process, thus making it<br />
more transparent.<br />
• Employees receive Media Training on an ongoing basis and<br />
key areas learn how to broadcast key messages correctly.<br />
