Blaze Club —— The design isn’t spectacular,
but here DJs play the newest
electronic sounds live – for the sake of
music, rather than for the sake of loud
volume. Close to the city centre, and
within walking distance of the University
of Sofia. Highly recommended.
4km. Party Center —— The most hip
club (with house and techno DJs, like
the good old days) outside the centre,
in the no-man’s-land between Sofia and
the airport, in an old military building
with a huge dance floor and lounge bar.
Since taxis are outstandingly inexpensive
in Sofia, a trip out there is easily affordable.

Yalta —— One of the oldest, and
therefore best tested, clubs for dancing
until 6 in the morning. Here well-known
international DJs can be heard. Caution
– there’s not always a program! But the
bar on the ground floor is open every
day. Its spacey design makes a heavenly
ambiance for a drink (or two).
