ADVOCACY FUN RUN IN BAGUIO CITY

01. Relative to the mandate of the Deparhnent on the Adoption of the
National Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) Poliry Framework as
embodied in DepEd Order No. 62 series of 2011and the all-out advocary
in CAR lead by the Regional Office, the advocacy fun run that kicked - off
in Mountain Province will continue here in Baguio City on February 16,
2013 (Saturday).
02.The IPED advocary fun run is one way of reaching out and advocating to
a1l stakeholders, partners in basic education, members of the DepEd
family, and all concerned citizens to support the eventual implementation
of the Indigenous Peoples Education in the schools here in CAR.
03. All Division office personnel, including the Superintendent, Assistant
Superintendent, and supervisors; the district supervisors, school heads,
non - teaching personnel in the field are enjoined to participate in the
advocary fun run. Teachers, students, parents, guardians, city officials and
all others who are interested are also invited or encouraged to join.

04.A registration fee amounting to Two Hundred rifry pesos (p250.00) or
One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) shall be collected from each participant. The
One Hundred Fifty Pesos (P150.00) is for a T-shirt (OPTIONAL) and the
one Hundred Pesos (p100.00) shall be given as the city,s support to
augment the budget allocation for IPED. For interested students, the
registration fee is only Fifty pesos (pS0.00).
