GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Port Ludlow Digital Life (DigitalLife) offers scholarships for Jefferson County Washington High School
seniors planning to enroll in a college or university in the next semester or quarter and pursue a Degree
in Technology:
Computer Science
Computer Technology
Information Systems Engineering
Information Technology
Mathematics
Telecommunications
Selection of scholarship recipients is highly competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not
guarantee a scholarship. Students who apply in an undeclared major status are not eligible for
consideration of this scholarship
High School Technology Scholarships are awarded to first time college freshmen for one year and may
be renewable for a second year based on performance and availability. These scholarships cover tuition
and fees only.
To qualify for a Port Ludlow Digital Life Technology Scholarship, the student must:
Be a graduating Jefferson County high school student.
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
Be Jefferson County resident and U.S. citizen (or resident aliens)
Submit complete DigitalLife Scholarship Application including:
o Completed Application Form
o Transcript reflecting grades from 9th grade through the first semester of 12th grade
o 250-350 Word Essay - "What has influenced your decision to pursue a career in
computer science and technology"
