Not surprisingly, those currently enrolled in a business program (diploma/certificate in college or degree<br />

in college/university or post‐graduate certificate at college) are more likely to place greater importance<br />

on specific factors when choosing a degree including the types <strong>of</strong> courses <strong>of</strong>fered, the cost <strong>of</strong> the tuition,<br />

the ability to transfer credits, pr<strong>of</strong>essional accreditation, a paid co‐op placement, etc. Similarly,<br />

international students and those who have immigrated to Canada place more importance overall than<br />

those born in Canada on the reputation <strong>of</strong> the school, program and faculty/instructors, as well as the<br />

types <strong>of</strong> courses that are <strong>of</strong>fered in the program, a more applied curriculum, and the ability to take<br />

some or all <strong>of</strong> the courses online.<br />
