The Search Engine <strong>Marketing</strong> course in the <strong>Bachelor</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> (<strong>Digital</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong>) degree is designed<br />

to prepare students to successfully complete the Google Advertising Fundamentals exam. This exam<br />

covers the most basic aspects <strong>of</strong> AdWords and online advertising, including account management and<br />

the value <strong>of</strong> search advertising.<br />

Additional advanced‐level exams available in the Google Certification Program include:<br />

The Search Advertising Advanced Exam covers intermediate‐to‐advanced best practices for<br />

managing AdWords campaigns (passing score 80%).<br />

The Display Advertising Exam covers intermediate‐to‐advanced best practices for advertising on<br />

YouTube and the Google Content Network (passing score 70%).<br />

The Reporting & Analysis Advanced Exam covers intermediate‐to‐advanced best practices for<br />

maximizing account performance using Google Analytics, Website Optimizer, the AdWords<br />

Report Center, and other analysis techniques (passing score 75%).<br />

Once qualified, individuals receive a Google‐branded certificate and can add their Individually Qualified<br />

status to their CV to showcase their AdWords skills and knowledge.<br />
