7.2 Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Association Recognition<br />

The Canadian Institute <strong>of</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong> (CIM) is the predominant institute facilitating marketing<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional development in Canada. The <strong>Bachelor</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> (<strong>Digital</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong>) program will be<br />

accredited by the CIM, and graduates will receive a free membership at the Graduate Member level.<br />

The Canadian Institute <strong>of</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong> has already demonstrated its recognition <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Bachelor</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Commerce</strong> (<strong>Digital</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong>) credential, evidenced by their letter in Section 8.<br />

7.3 Other Post‐Secondary Education Organizations<br />

Several universities have documented their support for Fanshawe College’s proposal to deliver the<br />

<strong>Bachelor</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> (<strong>Digital</strong> <strong>Marketing</strong>) program and their intention to consider graduates from this<br />

program for admission to graduate studies programs at their institutions.<br />
