TEXTILE 2011
Identity and uniqueness are the qualities that inspire the ART 17 textile collection, coordinated by Rodolfo
Dordoni, to lend the added value of consistency, harmony, style and personality to the design of Minotti
products. ART 17 provides a seductive and intelligent garment to drape the shapes of living and draws
inspiration from precious wovens like pique, with its quilted effect, and embroidered French canvas. If the
houndstooth designs and textured fabrics speak of the richness of a tradition that is constantly renewing
itself, the use of fibers like linen and cotton responds to a more lively demand for naturalness; out of respect
for the natural environment, all manufacturing processes are certified under European standards.
The colour palette has been updated again this year with a playful interweaving of shiny and opaque fibers.
While geometric motifs and non-design designs in contrasting colours rub shoulders with the colour rust,
elegant shades of ecru, white and black.
ART. DAM
In-depth research by our Style Office has led to the development of a highly innovative, very elegant fabric with
a soft hand. The jacquard structure, in fact, is made of uneven flat yarns woven with cotton and linen twisted
threads, a very complex construction method. All the yarns are exclusive productions.
The color palette includes 10 hues, offering plain white, mottled whites, warm grays and an all-new rust color
as the main color for 2011.
ART. CROSS
CROSS is the modern-day expression of fabric structures from the past. A throwback to embroidered French
fabrics which have been revisited and updated to create a fabric with a tailored and handcrafted style. This
fabric could only be obtained by making technical modifications to the modern jacquard production looms,
to guarantee a unique product as opposed to those produced by our competitors and unique in terms of its
aesthetics. The pairs of twisted linen yarns intersect with the cotton fabric base, precisely, evenly, like hand
embroidery.
ART. ARTIS
By using linen mixed with cotton, we obtained a fabric structure with houndstooth designs in a color range of
naturals, whites, grays and shades that contrast with the natural color and graphite.
The elegant, decorative design of ARTIS is able to confer a strong personality and uniqueness to the
products.
ART. NEMO
A fabric with a jacquard structure base that has enabled Minotti to obtain a precious look similar to piquet
fabrics with a slightly quilted effect.
The sophistication and sheen have been obtained with a special finishing treatment. The color palette offers
tones that reflect the mood of this year’s collection with solids and mélanges, naturals, grays and whites.

ART. ARCO
ARCO wool felt is all about quality and now comes in two new colors for 2011: rust and red. Color tones that
add value to the design shapes of the upholstered products from the Design Identity collection.
ART. AMOS
The AMOS fabric comes in 9 color variations. The understated, elegant look of AMOS makes this item a big
seller.
