Old news ~ points to remember!<br />

• Lost and Found items and unclaimed serving dishes from various events will be displayed on tables on<br />

the main floor of Lucas starting <strong>June</strong> 11 th . If you are missing items, come and have a look. On <strong>June</strong> 30,<br />

uniform items will be given to the Gryphon Sale, and other items will be sent to charitable organizations.<br />

• Old, unused or discarded items needed to make ART! Mme Jothy is collecting the following items for<br />

next year’s art projects. Should you have any, please leave them at the front office or at the steps of Mme<br />

Jothy’s artroom.<br />

• Afterschool Program News: The final day of this year’s afterschool program will be Tuesday, <strong>June</strong> 12 th .


• Le passeport de français: L’été et les vacances arrivent à grands pas. Cette année encore, le département<br />

de français a conçu un court document pour chaque bande (A, B et C) afin d’aider les enfants de la<br />

maternelle à la cinquième année à conserver un certain contact avec la langue de Molière en juillet et août.<br />

Les enseignants remettront à votre fils le cahier d’activités lors de la dernière semaine d’école. Nous vous<br />

demandons de vous assurer que le tout soit complété et retourné en classe dès les premiers jours de<br />

septembre. Si le petit livret ne se rend jamais à la maison ou est perdu en cours d’été, vous pourrez le<br />

consulter et l’imprimer (format PDF) directement de notre site Internet. Nous vous souhaitons une<br />

merveilleuse saison estivale!<br />

• West Island and Ile-des-Soeurs parents: Looking for a safe and reliable bus transportation for your son(s)<br />

next year <strong>Selwyn</strong> <strong>House</strong> and other QAIS schools run two joint bus services that drive through the West<br />

Island and Ile-des-Soeurs. The service offers one morning pick-up and two afternoon pick-ups (the first<br />

between 3:30 and 3:45 PM and the second late bus at 5:00 PM). An e-mail with a full description of the bus<br />

routes and fees has been sent to all West Island and Ile-des-Soeurs parents. If you did not receive the e-mail<br />

and would like more information, please contact Marsha Warmuth of the Admission Office at (514) 931-<br />

2775 or warmuth@selwyn.ca. The deadline for commitment to the bus services is Friday, <strong>June</strong> 15 th .
