PARTICIPANTS’ ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
Only one group per school may join the Digital Poster
Making Contest.
Each group must be composed of four senior high
school students, three (3) of them will be the official
contestants and the other one (1) will be the
alternate. The alternate contestant will be the only
acceptable substitute if any one of the officially
registered contestants will not be able to participate
in the contest.
Each member of the group must NOT be a contestant
in other academic contests of the MCL Cup 2013.
Schools may submit their duly accomplished
registration forms through delivery, postal mail,
facsimile, and/or electronic mail on or before
November 8, 2013 (Friday).
Incomplete or late registration is a ground for
disqualification.
Participants must present their school IDs upon
registration.
Participants are requested to be at the venue at least
one hour before the official start of the event. Five (5)
points shall be deducted from the total points of late
comers.
SPECIFIC COMPETITION GUIDELINES
The organizers will provide the participants ten (10)
photos to be used in the poster and one (1) iMac unit
for the production of the digital poster. Alternate
contestants are not allowed to participate once the
Elimination Round has started
The participants must finish the poster in two (2) hours
using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Each
team will also be given ten (10) photos to be used in
the poster.
The poster must be based on the theme, which will be
announced on the day of the event. Default present
brushes and patterns are allowed.
During the protest, contestants have the privilege of
consulting any reference, provided they are relevant to
the subject of the protest.
Participants are requested to be at the venue at least
one hour before the official start of the event.

Overall Appearance 35%
Uniqueness and Creativity 35%
Concept and Relevance to the Theme 30%

The Top 3 schools will get an MCL Cup 2013 Plaque/ Trophy;
and the corresponding points to vie for the Overall Winners of
MCL Cup 2013.
