What is
is the global youth network impacting the world through leadership
development experiences.
AIESEC
Present in over 126 countries and territories and with over 70,000 active members,
AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organisation. We are run by youth, for youth,
and we envision ‘peace and fulfilment of humankind’s potential’.
AIESEC was founded in 1948 in post-war Europe where a group of young individuals
from 7 countries, determined to create change, came together to create an
organisation that aimed to “expand the understanding of a nation by expanding the
understanding of the individuals, changing the world one person at a time”.
In a world where we face many different global challenges at different times, we
believe the solution is to develop responsible and entrepreneurial young leaders
today who will choose how the world will be like tomorrow.
The way we do this is unlike anyone else in the world. We provide practical
leadership experiences by living and delivering international exchange programs that
develop leadership in others. In doing so, young people are exposed to a global
learning environment where they have the confidence to learn and the freedom to
fail. With 65 years of experience, AIESEC is committed to creating change agents that
will make a positive impact on society.
CONFERENCES

"I believe that AIESEC is a place where you discover and reaslie
your potential. I have gained so much as a member of AIESEC
through the amazing people I've met and the purposeful work
I've done, helping to connect young people with the opportunity
to impact broad. AIESEC has taught me to never stop believing
in yourself and what you achieve."
Cedric Yu-Ching Cheng, B. Arts (Linguistics)

"I love connecting with people and learning what drives them. I
also love collaboration and compromise, because in my view at
least, you need to collaborate and compromise to get anything
done in life. This is what AIESEC really helped me develop
through countless opportunities to network and explore my
potential to lead others towards meaningful impact. AIESEC has
helped me be the best I can be.
Parth Gulati, B. Arts International and Global Studies

Being part of AIESEC is the most intense and real experience
you’ll have at such a young age. Running a social enterprise
that’s part of an international network teaches you incredible life
and professional skills that will lead you far into the future. I’ve
had the opportunity to develop high quality communication
skills, strategic thinking, business skills, responsibility for the
world, and most importantly, a passion that is nurtured everyday
by the inspiring young leaders that form part of your network. It’s
hands-on, challenging and real – and the best platform to
develop a young person’s leadership potential.
Monica Luo, B. Commerce and Laws

"By joining AIESEC, I feel that I've grown more self-confident as I
feel more comfortable with who I am and who I will grow to be
over the next few years. AIESEC provides a safe platform for me
to learn, try and fail, while providing the support that is needed
in those early stages. The most positive aspect of AIESEC is that
there are other like-minded people that are friendly and willing
to support new responsibilities, experiences and ideas.
Lily Kong, B. Commerce and Laws
