Tax-Exempt Users
User charges are calculated based on sewer discharge volumes and representative sampling of the discharge for concentrations
of BOD 5 and suspended solids. Loadings in thousands of pounds annually are extrapolated from the volume and concentration
measurements, with the rates listed above applied. Users are given a credit for real estate taxes paid to the District multiplied by
the O, M&R factor. Users owing more than $4,800 annually pay monthly estimates.
