Blower Nos. 9 & 10 and Air Main Installation, CWRP
Furnish, deliver and install two new 75,000 SCFM blowers (Nos. 9 and 10), replace existing 5700 hp
motors on Blowers Nos. 6 and 7 with 6000 hp motors, and provide blower system master controller,
install new 60" air main header to provide a "looped" plant process air piping system, relocation of
underground utilities for the installation of the 60" air main. Replace primary and secondary air filter
elements, rearrange stored material in blower building basement for installation of new blowers,
misc. modifications in the blower building and provide an uninterruptible power supply system in
Control Building.
Upper Des Plaines Intercepting Sewer 20B Rehabilitation, NSA
Project consists of rehabilitating 6,100 feet of 60 inch diameter circular pipe sewer by cured-in-place
pipe lining process, rehabilitating two entrance conduits to Drop Shaft 5 by spray-on products and
rehabilitating 9 manholes by spray-on products.
Gate Control Equipment Upgrade at TARP Control Structures, KWRP, NSA
Upgrading about 25 TARP control structures including hydraulic power units, actuators,
accumulators and stem assemblies.
Upper Des Plaines Intercepting Sewer 14A Rehabilitation, NSA
Project consists of rehabilitating 18,600 feet of 69 inch diameter circular sewer by cured-in-place
pipe lining and/or slip lining process, and 32 manholes and structures.
Upper Des Plaines Intercepting Sewer 14B Rehabilitation, NSA
Project consists of rehabilitating 3,000 feet of 48 inch diameter sewer and 11,000 feet of 69 inch
diameter sewer by cured-in-place pipe lining and/or slip lining method. Rehabilitating 26
manholes/structures and constructing one new manhole on an existing junction structure.
O'Hare CUP Reservoir Repair & Rehabilitation, NSA
Project includes a two phase approach to implement the most economical remediation measure to
stop the seepage and to stabilize the slopes of the O'Hare CUP Reservoir.
Centrifuge Building & Sludge Loading System Upgrades, EWRP
Rehabilitate the floor drain system in the lower level of the Centrifuge Building. Remove the
Serpentex Belt in the Centrifuge Loading Building. Remove the hoppers and conveyors and replace
with a pumping system.
Hanover Park Master Plan Projects, HPWRP
Based on the 40 year plan for the Hanover Park Water Reclamation Plant, development of major
infrastructure needs, process needs and solids handling needs projects will be done. The Master Plan
will prioritize major construction projects for the next 20 years.
TARP Radio Upgrade and Backup Antenna, CSA, SSA, NSA
This project upgrades the current TARP radio system. The new system will have double the data
speed of the current system, allowing for faster communications and a higher capacity. This project
also provides a fully redundant backup repeater radio site that can take over in the event of a problem
at the existing repeater site at Presidential Towers.
DCS and Electrical Work, HPWRP, KWRP, EWRP
This project is a clean-up contract to the Distributed Control System Installation contract. Scope
includes items below plus assorted issues. Hanover Park: Miscellaneous small items and other work.
Kirie: Blower controls and Filter Building switchgear. Egan: Filter valve controls.
