CAT5 VIDEO TRANSMISSION
Video balun (Balanced-Unbalanced) devices exploit UTP CAT5 twisted wires for transmitting
video signals. The great advantages of this type of transmission with respect to coax cable
installations include further wiring distances (max. 3000 m), easy procurement of CAT5 cable,
possibility of using a single wire for transmitting 4 video signals (by means of the four twisted
pairs contained in the CAT5 wire), higher lightening and electromagnetic induction immunity.
Easy, cost-effective installation - combined with high-performance products - make the Urmet
Domus Balun range an ideal solution for all system types.

1092/300A Passive balun TX/RX video pair
Pair of passive balun videos (without signal amplification) allow to adapt
the impedance between coax and UTP cable. They are particularly suitable
for transmitting and receiving video signals (black and white or colour) on UTP
(Unshielded Twisted Pair) wires.
- Compact dimensions for rapid connection to video control apparatuses,
monitors and cameras.
