Terms and Conditions

General Delivery 

Delivery will occur after receipt of fully specified and complete order on standard items. 

Please see the Steelcase List on the PolyVision dealer website for current product lead 

times. 

Shipping 

In the absence of specific shipping dates and instructions, PolyVision will ship by most 

direct route at our convenience. Shipping weights, when shown in catalog and price list, 

are given as accurately as possible, but are not guaranteed. Normal variations, either up 

or down, may occur. 

Returns 

There are absolutely no returns on custom-cut or manufactured materials. Customer 

must have return authorization number for any material return. On returns of standard 

material, a 25% restocking fee will be charged on good merchandise, and additional fees 

may be assessed for restoration of damaged goods or other charges incurred. Materials 

being returned must be protected to prevent damage in transit. PolyVision management 

will determine the condition of material prior to giving credit. 

Non-Standard Extrusion Lengths 

Add minimum charge of $50.00 dealer net per 1000 l/f for cutting extrusions to special 

lengths, plus drop-offs. 

Cancellations and Changes 

All cancellations and changes must be in writing and are subject to compensatory 

charges for work in progress. 

Back Charges 

PolyVision will not accept any back charges without prior written approval. If a problem 

occurs, advise PolyVision first, in writing to your customer service representative, for 

further instructions.

Acknowledgements 

1. All acknowledgements will be e-mailed, faxed, or mailed. 

2. Acknowledgements are the customer’s responsibility to review. 

3. Double check acknowledgements against requirements. Advise PolyVision of any 

discrepancy immediately. 

Terms 

PolyVision’s terms are 2% discount for payment within 10 days, NET 30 DAYS. PolyVision 

follows Steelcase credit and cash discount policies for dealers. All prices are FOB ORIGIN. 

All accounts over 30 days may be charged additional interest and collection fees. The 

customer is responsible for additional freight charges (i.e. call 24 hours prior to 

delivery). Shortages in shipments must be reported within 48 hours of material delivery. 

Pricing 

PolyVision pricing is based on dealer net or list prices, both are FOB origin. All prices 

include freight within the continental United States. 

There is no discount off of dealer net, standard discount off of list is 50/5 which results 

in dealer net. In addition to list and dealer net prices, this guide includes Manufacturer 

Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). 

Prices are subject to change. PolyVision reserves the right to change specifications 

and/or add improvements without notice or obligation. 

The issue of this price list does not constitute an offer. 

No Reduction 

No reduction from invoice may be made for loss or damage in transit. PolyVision will 

hold a clear receipt from the transportation company showing shipment is in proper 

order when picked up from PolyVision’s facility. PolyVision’s responsibility is terminated 

when shipment is turned over to the originating carrier. 

Claims 

For the customer’s own protection, if goods are damaged in transit, do not sign the 

delivery receipt until the carrier’s agent notes the nature and extent of damage on the 

freight bill. The goods should still be accepted. In case of concealed damage, a damage 

inspection report must be obtained from the carrier within 30 days. It is the agent’s duty 

to inspect the shipment and provide this report. Customers should insist on receiving a 

report. Customers should place claims immediately with the carrier’s office.

Custom Stains 

PolyVision will apply a set-up charge of $500 net (no discount) per custom stain 

formulation. This fee will apply whether or not an order is placed. This set-up charge is 

in addition to any additional costs involving the stain and/or veneer charges. A dealer 

purchase order is required to initiate this process. 

Provisions 

PolyVision Corporation reserves the right to make changes in product design, 

construction, or detail, and to discontinue any product or material without notice.
