MOTOTRBO TM new release provides exciting software enhancements for MOTOTRBO XiR
P8600 series, XiR P6600 series, XiR M8600 series and SL1K portable radios. Offer your

ASIAN LOCALISATION FOR DIVERSE MARKETS
MOTOTRBO Text Messaging is available in multiple
languages like English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional
Chinese and Korean. Using 12-key numeric keypad, users
can conveniently switch between various text input
modes at any time.
FASTER, EASIER TEXT MESSAGING
MOTOTRBO Predictive Text offers advanced features,
including Word Completion, a User Defined Dictionary,
Word Correction, Word Prediction, Smart Punctuation,
Auto Accenting, Number Lock, Sentence Capitalization,
and Caps Lock.
It automatically adds punctuation, capitalization and
accents to words as you type, and predict words by
considering context and learning previous user behaviour.
Other intelligent features, such as Word Correction, help
correct misspelled words while typing. Users can use
shortcuts to enter common phrases, and the radio can
intuitively help correct mistakes when a wrong key is
pressed.
The large, full colour displays on the MOTOTRBO SL1K
and XiR P8660 Series portables operate in day or night
mode to show more text at once, eliminating the need to
scroll through pages.

Due to a constantly changing workforce, new feature
availability, and dynamic business needs, radio
programming is a common occurrence.
To save time and travelling to each worksite,
administrators usually recall all active radios and
programme them at a central location. Problems
encountered include inability to easily locate all radios,
long waiting time for all radios to “come to the service
area” for programming, radios are off premise or mounted
in vehicles, radio downtime during programming,
a limited number of radios can be programmed
simultaneously, and many other operational issues.
EFFICIENT, SEAMLESS PROCESS
With this enhancement, you can deploy radio updates
without going onsite for in-person programming. You can
provide critical services like add/remove channels, modify
talk groups, and change contact lists anytime over-the-air.
