Creative Cuisine Brings You Festive
Foods For All Occasions!
Karen Maihofer of Creative Cuisine is returning to
VillageWalk of Bonita for the second year to bring you
some exciting and tasty cooking classes and luncheons.
The dates are as follows:
Thursday, March 25, Lighten Up Eating Well and Loving It.
All classes will be held at the Town Center from
10:30-1:00 p.m. Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. Karen is
a certified member of the International Association of
Culinary Professionals and has owned and operated her
own cooking school in Milwaukee, WI for 35 years and
has taught in over 50 communities in Florida for the past
17 years. After a short cooking demo, Karen will serve a
buffet of the foods prepared which will include:
Herbed Cherry Tomatoes Surrounded by Dilled Cheese
Stuffed Pea Pods, Caramelized Onion and Mushroom
Soup, Pork Tenderloin with a Blackberry Mustard
Honey Sauce and Fresh Blackberries, Wild Rice,
Asparagus and Herb Salad with Lemon Dressing,
Swirled Chocolate and Coffee Cheesecake - only 153
calories and 5 grams fat
The cost of each class which includes printed recipes,
luncheon, ice tea, water and coffee is $25.00. You must
register at the HOA Office at least 72 hours before the
class date by dialing 949-9909. No refunds may be
given after that date. We are limited as to the number of
guests, so please register early. Guests of VillageWalk
residents are allowed to attend space permitting.
Basic Beading
Learn how to make unique and beautiful jewelry.
Discover the art of wire-wrapping to create
necklaces, bracelets and earrings. This class will
run on the 3 rd Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m.
The cost for the class is $25.00 per person. All
reservations must be in 48 hours prior to class for
preparation purposes. Please call Jeanne to register

Classes and Workshops
WaterColors!
Fridays 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon
Each class is designed to accommodate student artists
at every level, from beginner to advanced. Each class will
include a lesson that will be incorporated in the weekly
paintings. No drawing experience is necessary. Paintings
will include flowers, lighthouses, landscapes, animals,
buildings, etc. Join us on Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in
the Town Center for this new class. The cost for the class
$30.00 for a three hour session with two instructors. By
having two instructor’s students will have a greater one-onone
experience. The watercolor ladies have been painting
together for many years and together ran an art gallery on
Broad Ave. in Naples. They have studied under several
watercolor artists, but found that Terry Madden, worldrenowned
watercolorist, gave them the greatest inspiration
and so that is who they received their certificate under.

FASHIONALITY
Join us on Thursday, April 8 at 3:00 pm for
“Fashionality” - it’s a fashion show with a twist!
Image Matters and Barbara Dell Productions will
host our own Village Walk version of “What Not to
Wear”. Six lucky residents will undergo a complete
image make-over and the results will be unveiled at
our “Fashionality” presentation as they model the latest
styles and fashion trends.
All apparel and accessories
modeled will be available for
purchase after the show.
