1. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that when Jesus returns,<br />
all Christians will be gathered together to meet Him!<br />
2. False teachers told the Christians in Thessalonica that Jesus had<br />
already returned.<br />
3. The false teachers caused trouble in the church at<br />
Thessalonica.<br />
False teachers can weaken your faith!<br />
False teachers can cause you to fear!!<br />
There are many false teachers waiting and wanting to<br />
deceive Christians.<br />
4. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that Jesus would NOT<br />
return until a great number of professing Christians fall away<br />
from truth.<br />
5. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that Jesus would NOT<br />
return until the ‘man of sin’ is revealed.<br />
6. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that the ‘man of sin’ will<br />
attempt to take over the authority of God.<br />
7. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that the ‘man of sin’ is<br />
being restrained by the Holy Spirit.<br />
The only thing keeping any degree of sanity on this planet is<br />
the Holy Spirit working in and through the church.<br />
God is far stronger than the ‘man of sin’!<br />

8. Paul told the Christians that the ‘man of sin’ has a mysterious<br />
power that’s already working in the world.<br />
The spirit of Antichrist can pollute any person, including<br />
Christians!<br />
The spirit of Antichrist is a subtle thinking that allows<br />
anything - to take the place of Christ.<br />
9. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that the ‘man of sin’ will<br />
be destroyed by the return of Jesus.<br />
10. Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica that the ‘man of sin’ will<br />
do the work of Satan using counterfeit power.<br />
Counterfeit power doesn't make things better!<br />
Counterfeit power doesn't give God the glory!<br />
Counterfeit power doesn't put Jesus first!<br />
11. Paul told the Christians that people who hear and refuse to<br />
receive the truth will believe lies.<br />
People who have stopped serving Christ, are wide open to<br />
the cults and false teachings.<br />
Standing Firm 13-17<br />

1. Paul is encouraged the Christians in Thessalonica by reminding<br />
them that they were chosen by God from the beginning!<br />
Salvation always begins and ends with God.<br />
2. Paul told the Christians to hold on to the truth!<br />
We should hold on to the truth of Christ's teachings because<br />
our life depends on it.<br />
