Education Committee
This committee is to develop self-supporting
education programs with wide appeal to all
areas of the turfgrass industry.
Chair: Jimmy Simpson,

Legislative
This committee works closely with GIC
and lobbyist. It monitors legislative
and other governmental activities
important to or affecting the turfgrass
and green industries in North Carolina.
The committee communicates with
members on a regular basis and assists
with the development of programs,
activities, etc., to accomplish the
association’s objectives in this area.

Certification
This committee works to develop
and promote the turfgrass professional
certification process. The committee
will review the application, testing
and renewal process every year to
keep current.

Membership
This committee assists with the
recruitment of new members and
retention of old members to ensure
that TCNC meets the needs of the
state’s turfgrass industry.

Communications
This committee works with staff on
development of the magazine and other
communications for the membership
and others to enhance the image,
visibility and awareness of TCNC
and the turfgrass industry.
