Tuition & Financial Aid<br />
TUITION<br />
A <strong>Bishop</strong> <strong>Loughlin</strong> Memorial High School<br />
education is an investment in your child’s<br />
future.<br />
We are committed to providing a quality<br />
Catholic education at the most reasonable<br />
expense possible to parents and guardians.<br />
This would not be possible without the<br />
financial support of our alumni and friends<br />
and the dedication of outstanding religious<br />
and lay faculty members.<br />
<strong>2011</strong>-<strong>2012</strong> EXPENSES:<br />
Tuition and Comprehensive Fees:<br />
$7,900 (tuition), plus $495 (comprehensive<br />
fee)<br />
Comprehensive Fee includes:<br />
Student insurance, activity fee, locks,<br />
retreats, standardized testing and all<br />
technology fees<br />
Parent Association Fee: $15<br />
Student/Parent Fundraising Fee: $150<br />
Book and Supply Fee: $130<br />
Tuition Payment Options<br />
• Payment in full- If the tuition is paid in<br />
full for the year on or before August<br />
15th, you may deduct $200 from the<br />
total.<br />
• Quarterly Payments- All students are<br />
enrolled in the Quarterly payment plan<br />
(July, October, January and March)unless<br />
otherwise indicated.<br />
• Monthly Payments- This option must<br />
be selected upon registration. It is a ten<br />
month payment plan beginning in July<br />
and ending in April. All payments are<br />
due on the 15th of the month.<br />
Making Tuition Payments<br />
Payments can be made in person at <strong>Bishop</strong><br />
<strong>Loughlin</strong> on school days from 8:00 am to<br />
3:30 pm . We accept cash, checks, money<br />
orders, Visa, Mastercard and American<br />
Express. Payments can also be made by<br />
mail or online at www.blmhs.org.<br />
SCHOLARSHIPS:<br />
Academic Scholarships are determined by a<br />
students grammar school record, results of<br />
the Catholic Schools entrance exam (TACHS)<br />
and recommendations from grammar<br />
school personnel.<br />
FINANCIAL AID<br />
(GRANT-IN-AID):<br />
Grant-in-aid is program made possible by<br />
donations from Alumni. This program is<br />
available to registered students whose<br />
families are in need of some financial<br />
assistance. Applications are available<br />
upon registration. Applications must be<br />
completed and submitted along with<br />
financial documentation before May 15th.<br />
