LNG Regasification Terminal Quintero Bay, Chile - CB&I

Storage. A contract by Abu Dhabi
Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) for
the engineering, procurement,
fabrication and construction
of six low temperature/
cryogenic storage tanks, two
ambient storage tanks and the
associated piping, controls,
power distribution and civil works
systems. This project is part of the
expansion of GASCO’s Integrated
Gas Development project in
Ruwais, in the Emirate of Abu
Dhabi.
Full-Field Development. A frontend
engineering and design
(FEED) services contract, in a joint
venture with Aker Solutions and
WorleyParsons, for Phase 2 of
the full-field development of the
giant Kashagan oil field offshore
Kazakhstan, which contains
an estimated 12 to 15 billion
barrels of oil reserves. Work on
the project is expected to be
completed in the first quarter of
2010, with additional options that
could extend the work up to an
8-year period.
Refinery Modernization. A
contract by NAFTNA INDUSTRIJA
SRBIJE (NIS Petroleum Industry
of Serbia) to upgrade its Pancevo
Oil Refinery in Serbia. The
scope of work includes detailed
engineering, procurement
services, construction
management and commissioning
for the hydrocracker/hydrotreater
unit (licensed by Chevron
Lummus Global) and the
associated support units, auxiliary
and offsites systems.
Diesel Hydrotreater. A contract
by Royal Dutch Shell plc for
the engineering, procurement
and construction of a diesel
hydrotreater at the Pernis Refinery
in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Asia Pacific & Australia
Chemical Plants. Contracts
by Brahmaputra Cracker and
Polymer Limited (BCPL) for the
license and basic engineering
of two new chemical plants to
Lummus Technology. BCPL’s
ethylene plant will utilize Lummus
Technology’s proprietary ethylene
technology, and the downstream
polypropylene plant will utilize
Novolen advanced gas-phase
polypropylene technology.
The two plants will be built in
Lepetkata, Assam, India.
LNG. A contract for an LNG import
terminal expansion project in
Fujian Province, China, by CNOOC
Fujian LNG Co. Ltd. CB&I’s scope
of work includes engineering,
procurement and construction
of two additional 160,000 cubic
meter full containment LNG
storage tanks. This award follows
CB&I’s successful completion of
the first phase of the Fujian import
terminal. The project is scheduled
to be completed in 2011.
Heaters. A material supply
contract for eight cracking heaters.
These heaters are for the No. 6
Naphtha Cracker Ethylene Plant of
CPC Corporation, Taiwan, located
in Lin Yuan, Taiwan, Republic of
China. Lummus Technology also
provided the process technology
and basic engineering under a
separate contract with CPC.
LNG Tanks. A contract by Chevron
Australia Pty Ltd for the LNG
and condensate storage tanks
at the Gorgon LNG liquefaction
project on Barrow Island in
Australia. CB&I’s scope includes
the engineering, procurement,
fabrication and construction
of two 180,000 cubic meter
full containment LNG tanks,
four condensate tanks and the
associated piping, electrical,
instrumentation and civil works.
