The Vicki Bowden Mobbs Majorette Classic is a competition for majorette and flag lines on both the junior high and high school
levels. The format celebrates twirling, camaraderie among fellow performers, and esprit de corps. We look forward to your
participation in one of the few competitions designed strictly for school lines.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
9 a.m. –Junior High School Check‐In // 12 p.m. – High School Check‐In
10 a.m. – Junior High Competition *Awards ceremony following competition
1:30 p.m. – High School Competition *Awards ceremony following competition
You will be sent a schedule of events approximately 1 week prior to the competition provided that applicants meet the deadline.
Awards: Best in Class will be awarded in each category/classification and subsequent places will be awarded at the judges’
discretion. *Please note that the Once…Always Alumni Association reserves the right to combine classifications/categories as
deemed necessary.
RULES OF THE DAY
NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION. ONLY SCHOOL CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS WILL
BE ACCEPTED FOR ENTRY FEES.
All routines must be majorette or flag line field routines using either their band or the publisher’s CD. Exceptions are made
for lines who do not twirl to band arrangements.
Lines may perform to any type of music in the Show category.
You must wear field uniforms for every category except the Show Category. (These are considered for awards.)
NO costume changes EXCEPT for the Show Category.
No food or drink in the auditorium.
All teams must be ready to perform at their designated time. We reserve the right to disqualify teams who are not ready in
a timely manner.
No Samoan knives are allowed.
The judging panel’s decisions are final!
Good sportsmanship and competition decorum are very important to us. Therefore, any group/person whose conduct is inappropriate will cause
the line that he or she is representing to be immediately disqualified from not only this competition but all KC twirling events.
